PURPOSE Primary Care physicians often see patients who present with abdominal pain resulting from various etiologies. Many of these cases require surgical intervention. This program will review a variety of causes of abdominal pain with the ultimate goal of optimizing surgical outcomes. These certificates are accepted by the NC Boards for nurse practitioners and registered nurses. License requirements are subject to change.
