PRESS RELEASE Christopher Protsman Chief of Police Released: November 20, 2017 POLICE BLOTTER Monday, November 13, 2017 1114 An officer stopped a vehicle at Wilmington and Dorothy for no front plate. Upon contact it was determined the driver was under multiple suspensions and had a Dayton warrant. Upon confirmation Tony D. McFalls (B/M/38) was placed under arrest. The plates were also found to be fictitious, and an open container of alcohol was found in the vehicle during the tow inventory. McFalls was transported to KPD jail where he was issued multiple citations and a summons for open container. 2017-56929 1241 An officer stopped a vehicle at Wilmington Pk and Mendota for a turn signal violation. Upon contact the rear seat occupants were uncooperative, providing conflicting identification and other information, and acting very nervous. The male eventually provided his correct name and it was found he had an MCSO warrant for parole violation. Upon confirmation Joshua G. Maher (W/M/32) was placed under arrest. A pile of miscellaneous items was located in the back seat, which had been brought into the car by Maher and the female passenger when they were picked up at Speedway 2150 E. Dorothy Ln. Upon contact with Speedway they confirmed a theft and identified the suspect. Cassandra N. Huff (W/F/18) was placed under arrest for Theft. Both were transported to KPD jail, where Maher was also charged with Obstructing Official Business. 2017-56953

1600 An officer conducted a traffic stop at Springhill and Dixie for an equipment violation. A strong odor of marijuana was detected. One of the passengers refused to identify himself other than as P, stating he was a sovereign citizen. Using the fingerprint scanner, P was identified as Pierre L. Draper (B/M/34). A check revealed he had a Dayton warrant for FTC on Domestic Violence charge. Upon confirmation Draper was placed under arrest and transported to KPD jail, where he was also issued a summons for possession of marijuana. 2017-56813 1845 An officer stopped a vehicle at 1724 Woodman Dr. on a registration check showing the owner to have a warrant. Upon contact it was confirmed the driver was the owner. Upon confirmation Cierra D. Jefferson (B/F/27) was placed under arrest for the MCSO warrant for Criminal Damaging, and transported to KPD jail for booking. 2017-57004 0110 An officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Wilmington and Woodman for a red light violation. The driver was found to be under suspension and the passenger, Wesley C. Vertrees (W/M/45) was found to have an entered warrant through Montgomery County for Probation Violation on an original charge of Burglary. The warrant was confirmed and Vertrees was arrested. 2017-57068 Tuesday, November 14, 2017 1608 An officer observed William J. Stamper Jr (W/M/39) at the corner of Wilmington Pike and East Dorothy Lane. He was aware that Stamper had a warrant for his arrest. Xenia PD issued the warrant for Stamper s failure to appear on a nonsupport charge. Stamper was arrested and transported to the Kettering Jail on the confirmed warrant. 2017-57184 2343 Officers conducted a traffic stop on Wilmington Pike for a suspected DUS driver. Upon stopping the vehicle, they met with the driver, Desmond J. Lindemuth (B/M/19). During a consent search they located 3 counterfeit $20 bills. Lindemuth was cited for DUS and issued a summons for Criminal Simulation (M1). The front seat passenger, Lemonta U. Lewis Jr (B/M/22) was arrested for an outstanding Riverside PD warrant for theft. 2017-57245

0206 An officer was dispatched to the Fairborn Police Department jail for a warrant service. Upon arrival he took custody of Michael J. James (B/M/27). James had an active KMC warrant for FTC on an original charge of DUS. 2017-6611 Wednesday, November 15, 2017 1338 An officer was dispatched to Shroyer and Rockhill on a panhandler. Upon his arrival, he located Shawn D. Crider, (W/M/50). Crider had an active warrant for his arrest from MCSO. Crider was arrested and transported to the Kettering PD Jail. 2017-57340 1755 Officers responded to 4480 Woodner Drive to arrest John D. Martin (W/M/44) for violating a protection order earlier today. Martin was taken into custody when he arrived to pick up his daughter for scheduled visitation. He was transported to the Kettering Jail and held on a potential felony charge due to prior convictions. Martin was also issued a summons for being in possession of marijuana and a pipe. 2017-57361 2026 Officers responded to 3664 Lodi in attempt to locate Barbara A. Quatman (W/F/51) on a warrant service. The Kettering Municipal Court issued the warrant on Quatman for a drug possession charge. Quatman was arrested and transported to the Kettering Jail on the confirmed warrant. 2016-53716 0040 Officers responded to 3863 Traine Dr on the report of a fight. Upon arrival, they found no one, but later were advised by dispatch of a male near 10006 Wenbrook. The male later identified as Richard E. Grabill III (W/M/39) was under the influence of a CNS stimulant and was screaming in the street. Grabill later admitted to ingesting methamphetamine. He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. 2017-57420 0111 An officer conducted a traffic stop on Wilmington Pike for a moving violation. Upon speaking to the driver, he identified himself as Zachriah Pittman. After some investigation, the offcier eventually identified the driver as Christian D. Brogan (B/M/26). In plain view inside the vehicle was an open can of beer. The investigation revealed: straw with cocaine residue, marijuana paraphernalia. Brogan was arrested for Obstruction. He was also issued summonses for possession of drug paraphernalia (x2) and open container. He was cited for improper turn and DUS.

0341 An officer conducted a traffic stop after a random registration check revealed the suspected driver was wanted. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer identified the driver as Tre A. Schirmer (W/M/21). He had an active KMC warrant for FTC probation on an original charge of domestic violence. A K9 conducted a free air sniff and alerted. The subsequent searched revealed a glass pipe with residue. Schirmer was arrested for the warrant and issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. 2017-57430 0619 Officers were dispatched to Frisches at 2861 Wilmington Pike for an intoxicated subject. Upon arrival they met with Amanda K. Stidham (W/F/38). She was obviously intoxicated and subsequently arrested for Disorderly Conduct (PI). 2017-57435 Thursday, November 16, 2017 2020 Officers responded to 851 East Dr on report of a non-breather related to an overdose. Medics were able to revive the subject, but a check revealed a KMC tax warrant for him. Charles H. Wilson II (B/M/30) was transported to KMH by medics. An officer responded there and served the tax warrant on Wilson, giving him a court date. Wilson admitted he had snorted Xanax tablets causing him to overdose, and was also served with a summons for disorderly conduct. 2017-57573 0146 An officer conducted a traffic stop on Sutton Ave for a moving violation. Upon contacting the driver he noted a strong odor of alcohol emanating from within the car. Another officer arrived on scene and watched the passengers. After seeing furtive movements the occupants were removed. Bryan T. Eisen (W/M/30) was found in possession of an open container and was issued a summons. Brandon L. Holbrook (W/M/34) was arrested for felony Improper Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle and misdemeanor Using Weapons While Intoxicated after a hidden S&W was located. 2017-57599 0253 Officers responded to 3136 Muriel for a reported family problem. Upon arrival they met with the victim who advised she had been assaulted by her boyfriend David M. Thompson (W/M/42). He was subsequently

arrested for Domestic Violence and Obstructing Official Business. 2017-57611 0630 An officer responded to the police department to fax a warrant to the MCSO jail. Upon arriving, he determined that Edward E. Norris Jr (B/M/41) had already bonded out and assigned a Nov 28 th court date by jail staff. 2017-54505 Friday, November 17, 2017 2046 Officers responded to a suicidal subject at Meijer, 4075 Wilmington Pike. Upon their arrival, they located Joshua Deeter (W/M/30). Deeter s girlfriend was making suicidal threats because he was talking to other females on Facebook. She was transported to Kettering Hospital. Deeter had an active warrant through Kettering for Assault. An officer confirmed the warrant and took Deeter into custody. He was transported to KPD Jail without incident. 2017-52936 0140 An officer stopped an entered stolen vehicle near 1674 Selkirk Dr. His investigation resulted in the driver, Jeffrey D. Goddard (W/M/38), being arrested for felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. One of the passengers, Rebecca L. Seiber (W/F/34) was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. 2017-57791 0157 Officers responded to 963 Kimberly Dr for an attempted warrant service. Upon arrival, they located Charles G. Perkins (W/M/54). He had an active felony warrant for his arrest for receiving stolen property. He was arrested without incident. 2017-57785 0217 Officers responded to 1036 Ansel Dr. for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival they found Dustin R. Ashbrook (W/M/31) highly intoxicated and inside the home causing a ruckus. He had injured himself while throwing furniture. He was ultimately arrested for Disorderly Conduct. 2017-57792 0317 Officers responded to 1980 Whipp Rd (McGullicutty s Bar) for a suspicious person. Upon their arrival, they located Jonathon R. Beeson

(W/M/22) crawling out from some bushes. He was highly intoxicated and arrested for Disorderly Conduct. 2017-57798 Saturday, November 18, 2017 2329 An officer located a suspicious vehicle at 2070 Forrer Blvd (Forrer Pointe Car Wash). Upon speaking to the occupant, Misty D. Ramsey (W/F/38) he found her reasoning for being in the lot, suspicious. Further investigation revealed she was in possession of a baggie of suspected cocaine and heroin. She was arrested for felony drug possession. She also had an active Beavercreek PD warrant for FTA on an original chare of theft. 2017-57920 0147 An officer conducted a traffic stop on E. Dorothy Ln for speeding. Upon speaking to the driver, Michael C. Whitesell (W/M/54) the officer immediately noticed signs of intoxication. Whitesell completed but failed SFST s. He was arrested for OVI. He was also cited for speeding and he later tested.181. 2017-57932 0409 Officers responded to the area of Woodman and Dorothy for a subject walking in the roadway. Upon arrival, they located William A. Mendez Perez (H/M/24). He was highly intoxicated and was seen walking in the EB lanes of E. Dorothy. He was arrested for Public Intoxication (unable to care for self). 2017-57939 Sunday, November 19, 2017 Nothing to Report ###
