The Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board of Pittsburgh plans to use a $3 million federal grant to close the gap between the number of job openings in technology fields -- particularly manufacturing -- and the number of people with the skills necessary for those jobs. The program helps workers receive training to meet the needs of startup companies, said Bernie Lynch, project manager for Making It in America.
Unlike many other business incubators focused primarily on research and development, our incubators provide the facilities, resources, and support needed by manufacturing entrepreneurs. The management at IncubatorWorks understands small business and how to grow it! Alan Rae, Ph.D Executive Director
