Marsie De Oliveira Leading Instructional Development and Delivery at UT Arlington s New Environmental Training Institute Marsie De Oliveira is a Certified Safety Professional and holds a master s degree in Environmental Health and Safety. Her experience spans more than 20 years in managing and providing technical support for a wide range of safety, health, and environmental projects in the Department of Energy (DOE), private industry, and other government agencies. She has participated as a team leader or member of DOE review teams for various nuclear and non-nuclear facilities. Currently Ms. De Oliveira s leadership role with UTA is focused on the development and delivery of environmental safety and health training. Ms. De Oliveira led the development of the Management System Design course for the Division s Master Certification and the EPA Outreach Program. We designed the web-based portal with our instructors in mind to provide a more efficient and reliable process of requesting Outreach cards. Robert served as the Director for Safety and Occupational Health for the United States Army in Europe and Seventh Army for more than 20 years. Mr. Braun s broad and varied expertise in safety, occupational health, and engineering issues has been used by NATO, and the Department of Defense (DOD) in developing DOD Joint Policy. Robert is currently the Director of UTA s Military Services Center (MSC). This business unit recently completed two very successful joint forces contracted events delivering mixed disciplines of instruction for over 200 persons during an Army Surge Training event and a Tri-Services Safety Symposium with over 150 military service members and civilian safety and health professionals from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
