Candidate nomination update Nomination Candidates (Jan D Ailly, Cathy MacLellan, Bardish Chagger, Dan Herman) To date, four people (pictured at left) have submitted applications to the Liberal Party to be contestants for the Liberal nomination in the Waterloo riding. We encourage you to visit our website to learn more about them: waterloo.liberal.ca/nomination If any additional contestants submit applications before the nomination meeting, their names will be added to the website. As a reminder, the process for the nomination is generally as follows: Interested individuals who believe they meet the criteria to contest for the nomination submit their nomination paperwork to the Liberal Party. After submitting their nomination paperwork, contestants may chose to publically announce their candidacy, but they must be approved by the Green Light Committee to appear on the nomination ballot. A nomination meeting will be scheduled at the discretion of the Liberal Party of Canada (Ontario). A date for the Waterloo riding nomination meeting has not yet been communicated to the riding association, but we will inform members of the date as soon as it is known. We encourage you to follow us on Twitter (twitter.com/watlib), Facebook (facebook.com/kwfla), or Google+ (plus.google.com/114171724998661946390) to keep up to date with news about the nomination process.
