RUE AERO = REACHING UP TO EXCELLENCE IN AEROSPACE CLUSTER MANAGEMENT Excellence Labelling Results In 4 focus fields (Strategy, Skills, Technology, Internationalisation): Cluster excellence trainings (regional focus) Cluster excellence visits (focus on EACP as ESCP) Benchmarking; Peer 2 Peer review; labelling As ESCP: more professional setup of EACP; enhanced visibility of EACP in EU As clusters: professional setup of clusters in these 4 fields better member service, bigger portfolio COSME project 18 months (Jan 16 - Jun 17) 95 % funding (ca. 250 000 ) 9 partners, yet benefitting all EACP members

Working Group Issues Who wants to have the lead and Co-Lead of WG Strategy When to meet? What about Airshows? How many have to attend a meeting that it makes an official Working Group Meeting?

INNOSUP CALL: Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains To generate new value chains (could also mean intergration of SMEs into already existing value chains outside of Europe?) Creat open space for cross-sectoral fertilisation & value chain innovation min. 75% of total budget to support innovation of SMEs Synergies with ESIF is encouraged Second round starts 2016 Two-stage: Planned opening: 8 Nov 2016 4 April 2017 2nd stage Sept 2017

ZIM (Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand) ZIM is a german funding programme for SMEs with business operations in Germany which want to develop new or significantly improve existing products, processes or technical services Several possibilities to cooperate with transnational partners

ESCP S3 = Towards Strategic Cluster Partnerships for Smart Specialisation Investments Implementation of national & regional smart specialisation strategies Put a partnering process in place for strategic inter-regional collaboration Teaming up around similar or related industrial thematic areas Deadline end 2016
