Coordination with Medicare Prior authorization Timely Filing Limit The eligible expenses that are not paid because of copayments, deductibles, or other coverage restrictions by Medicare will be considered for payment by the Plan. If a medical procedure is not covered by Medicare but is covered by the Plan, then the Plan will cover that service for Medicare participants in the same manner as for active participants.
