If your project is nominated, you will also be included in dena s publicity. Demonstrate your expertise. For their own communication, the award winners will receive an award certificate stating the project submitted and the corresponding company. dena also produces a fact sheet on every award-winning project. Be accepted as a reference project. dena also checks award winners for compliance with the criteria for dena s reference projects database, giving you the opportunity for further recognition. Win attractive prize money. The winner of the first prize receives EUR 15,000, second EUR 10,000 and third EUR 5,000. Energy efficiency pays off.
The competition. Since 2007, the Deutsche Energie-Agentur (dena) German Energy Agency has been awarding the Energy Efficiency Award to outstanding energy efficiency projects by companies in industry and commerce. The prize money of the international competition amounts to EUR 30,000. Premium partners of the competition are Bayer MaterialScience AG, Danfoss and DZ BANK AG. The Energy Efficiency Award 2015 is under the patronage of Sigmar Gabriel, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. The winners of the Energy Efficiency Award 2015 will be selected by renowned experts from industry, the sciences and the energy sector. During an informed debate, they will nominate 15 companies and agree upon three final winners. Uniform assessment criteria for all competition entries form the benchmark for the jury s decision. The awards ceremony. Presentation of the Energy Efficiency Award will take place on 16 November 2015 in Berlin at the dena Energy Efficiency Congress in the presence of a top-class audience of industry professionals. The first prize is worth EUR 15,000, second EUR 10,000 and third EUR 5,000. Reduced energy consumption is becoming an increasingly important criterion for international competitiveness. How to enter the competition. The Energy Efficiency Award 2015 is open to all companies in industry and commerce that have successfully implemented in their business energy efficiency projects. Moreover, entries from end users and the system manufacturers, planners or consultants involved in these projects are also welcome. Put together a project description In order for us to be able to assess your project, we ask that you specify a few key figures such as electricity and fuel consumption, savings realised or the investments made. Please take these key figures from the application documents.
