Costs Melbourne Business Practicum Subject tuition fee PLUS Melbourne - local travel costs to host company Sydney $1427 per person incl. 13 nights 4 share apartment accommodation (mixed gender), 2 bedrooms (twin-share rooms- same gender), 2 bathrooms Global Business Practicum Subject tuition fee PLUS GBP fee - $1200-$1900 includes: 15 nights bed & breakfast, minimum 3 star, twin-share Sight seeing tour NOT included in GBP fee: Airfare, local transportation, lunch, dinner, visa. NOT included in Sydney: Airfare, local transportation, meals
Funding available Melbourne Business Practicum TRAVEL GRANT - $750 All students selected for Sydney are eligible PLUS Melbourne Business Practicum Prize awarded to the FOUR most impressive July 2018 applicants: 2 x $500 prizes for the best local FBE students 2 x $500 prizes for the best international FBE students Global Business Practicum TRAVEL GRANT - $1000 All GBP students are eligible PLUS Global Business Practicum Prize awarded to the most impressive July 2018 applicants for each city: 1 x $1,500 prize for the best FBE student traveling to Guangzhou 1 x $1,500 prize for the best FBE student traveling to Kuala Lumpur 1 x $1,500 prize for the best FBE student traveling to Shanghai (Note: No additional application required to be considered for the prizes)
Eligibility Minimum points completed at application: 200-point degree students: completion of a minimum of 50 points at time of application; or 150 point degree students: completion of a minimum of 50 points at time of practicum commencement if you have a business background (e.g. studied business subjects in an undergraduate degree or relevant work experience). Competitive entry: Academic Performance (overall WAM) Quality of CV and Interview Stream Interview performance An overall match of skills, experience and interests to the available projects Students cannot apply for both the MBP and GBP at the same time Open to students in all MBS Master courses and other non-fbe Masters* approved courses
Application Process Apply by filling out the online form available on the Business Practicum websites. You will be asked to: 1. Upload a CV and 2. Record a response to the below question using Interview Stream What makes you a suitable candidate for the Business Practicum AND What skills and experience would you bring to a project team? (Maximum recording time: 2 minutes) 3. Upload a Photo (headshot style) Successful students will be invited via email to participate in a group interview.
