Workday 29 is Here! Upgrade New User Experience For desktop computer users, Workday 29 brings a new look to your Worker profile! The information is now grouped similarly to how you view it in the Mobile App. Workday s goal is to provide a unified experience across all of the different ways you access your Workday information. Recovery Assistant This new feature will allow you to resume a task in the event you timed out or closed out of your Workday session (this is different than signing out). This is NOT an auto-save feature - if you entered any data in the Workday task, it is NOT guaranteed that the same information will be there when you return. In addition, it is not going to save every task you started. The Recovery Assistant should only be used as a helpful tool and not as a replacement for doing the task correctly the first time. To use the Recovery Assistant, click on "Name (cloud icon)" in the upper-right. In the menu, look toward the bottom for "Recovery Assistant." Click on it to see where you can return to a previous task. Click on the task to return to it. Kronos Previously, you were asked to go to Workday to view your Paid Time Off. A completed Payroll run was necessary before you could see your updated balances. Now, the new Kronos system is able to provide an up-to-date Paid Time Off balance! Workday will only receive the balances from Kronos and show those balances. As it has been communicated before, please use Kronos to access your up-to-date information. Background Enhancements Workday is committed to making improvements and optimizations to make their product better for you the customer. Masonic Villages is committed to taking those improvements and optimizations and making them meaningful for our employee community. Most of the changes in Workday are not visible, but the Masonic Villages Workday Team is working on making those changes integrate seamlessly.
