THE UDINE G7 UNIVERSITY MANIFESTO: 1. To promote global citizenship, following the values of democracy, inclusion, and the use of scientific method to cope with social issues. 2. To promote economic, social and environmental sustainability through transdisciplinary collaborations, also involving external stakeholders, in order to increase the social perspective and critical thinking. 3. To promote access, retention and success of a higher number of students, taking into account the particular characteristics of different target students in terms of age, gender, previous education, background and income. 4. To promote the role of HE in future social and economic development, fostering the competitiveness, international mobility and a larger set of opportunities around the globe.
The city of Udine is: - situated half-way between the mountains and the sea - only 70 km away from Trieste and 140 km from Venice - nearby Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
