Flatiron Health, Inc. 96 Spring Street New York, NY 10012 Release Notes Version 2.7.2 February 27, 2015

February 27, 2015 New Features and Improvements This month, we re releasing several new features and improvements to OncoEMR including changes to diagnosis descriptions, scheduler, superbill, demographics, C CDA layout and more. Many of these new features and improvements stem from requests made by the Flatiron Health community. Choose Oncology/Hematology Diagnosis and Other Medical Problems descriptions and codes Based on customer feedback, we ve reorganized the code list to make it easier to find SnoMed, ICD9 and ICD10 codes. Users may also choose which code description to use in the diagnosis display, regardless of the selected code type. Highlight unscheduled activities in the Scheduler Users can now see unscheduled patient activities right from the scheduler page, just like unscheduled activities on the visit list. Charge column added to the Superbill In the event that your clinic treats patients in multiple locations, the practice can now track where each activity took place on the superbill under the column labeled location. Increased C CDA customization Print option now prints in a patient friendly format with practice header. Individual providers can customize items included on the C CDA. LOINC code look up and entry added to Radiology Orders In addition to CPT codes, users can now look up and enter LOINC codes for tests using contrast. New Quick Select date options for Multiple Orders and Order Set pages We ve added 2 weeks as a selection on the quick select box within the multiple orders and order set dialog boxes to increase physician efficiency. 1

Improved Show Completed activities view on the Treatment Plan Formerly a checkbox, the new Show Completed link clearly articulates the Show Completed functionality for improved user experience. Approve Orders through a Selected Date now a link on the Treatment Plan The calendar icon has been replaced by a link called Selected Date. This link opens the calendar in a separate dialog box to improve overall application stability. Patient Family History can be added from SeeYourChart Patients will now be able to add their family history through the SeeYourChart patient portal. Information will pull through to OncoEMR for practice review saving clinics time typically spent entering patient information. Existing Highlighted Features Here a couple of recently released features that we d like to highlight. Patient pop up alerts available through Demographics page In addition to the alert bar, you can now deliver patient specific information to all OncoEMR users through customized pop up notifications when opening a patient chart. Summary of care for electronic transfer of care/referrals and direct messaging Users now have ability to send and receive electronic referrals to help you meet 2014 Edition Stage 2 Core Measure 15.2. For more detailed information regarding the on boarding process please contact oesupport@flatiron.com. 2

Detailed Product Feature Walkthrough Choose Oncology/Hematology Diagnosis and Other Medical Problems descriptions and codes The enter/edit screen has been reorganized. The code list (ICD9, ICD10 and SnoMed) are now in line and can be modified by selecting Change Code. Since ICD9, 10 and SNOMED all have slightly different descriptions we now allow the user to select which description to use for the diagnosis documentation by clicking Use Desc. 3

NOTE: If you have ICD 10 enabled at your site and wish to convert an ICD 9 code to an ICD 10 code using the Edit field in the Diagnosis List simply select Change Code in the ICD 10 line and you will be directed to the conversion page. Selecting Find ICD 10 will show the applicable ICD 10 choices. Select the correct code and click save to populate the ICD 10 field on the diagnosis page. NOTE: Even with ICD 10 enabled users are still able to enter ICD 9 codes. 4

Using ICD 9 instead of ICD 10 Highlight unscheduled activities in the Scheduler Unscheduled activities, labs and radiology tests will be highlighted in RED. 5

Charge column added to the Superbill Charge location column has been added to the Superbill. 6

Increased C CDA customization C CDA print option now patient ready and includes practice header. Practice specific header is turned on by default. If your practice does not wish to use your practice specific header, please contact oesupport@flatiron.com to have it removed. Physician specific C CDA customization Each provider can now select which information is included in the C CDA document for their patients. This is a sticky setting, meaning once the provider choosing their desired fields, all of their patient C CDAs will reflect this change. C CDA setup up can be found in the General section of Customize. 7

LOINC code look up and entry added to Radiology Orders LOINC code look up and entry for tests using contrast are now available. 8

New Quick Select date options for Multiple Orders and Order Set pages We ve added 2 weeks as a selection on the quick select box within the multiple orders dialog box to increase physician efficiency. Improved Show Completed Regimens view on the Treatment Plan Formerly a checkbox, the new Show Completed link to clearly articulates the Show Completed functionality for improved user experience. 9

Approve Orders through a Selected Date now a link on the Treatment Plan The calendar icon has been replaced by a link called Selected Date. This link opens the calendar in a separate dialog box to improve overall application stability. 10
