Thematic focus and parallel sessions are following: Spreading Excellence and Crossing the Innovation Divide Conference will provide a platform for stakeholders to have an in-depth discussion on the role of excellence in European research and innovation as well as opportunities presented through Horizon 2020, ESIF and other national and international programs to bridge the innovation gap between countries, regions, research institutions, universities and enterprises. The event will serve as a forum to assess the results of Teaming, Twinning and ERA chairs in order to point out the main reasons for these disparities. http://secid2016.eu/

Thematic focus and parallel sessions are following: The conference will examine the process of creating the European Energy Union, looking specifically at the research and innovation strategy which is a key to producing a breakthrough in transforming the EU energy sector. The aims are to improve the visibility of the Energy Union, identify policy options and priorities and plan future actions.
