ACTIVITY GUIDE: SPECIAL EVENTS SPECIAL EVENTS March -; April - Electric Bike Tours a.m. - 1 p.m. $ per person (ages +), per tour During this tour, an Orange County native will guide you through Monarch Beach Resort on Salt Creek Trail, a riding path that exposes gorgeous canyon and beach views. Choose to pedal yourself or take advantage of the resort s exclusive battery-operated electric bicycles for an easier journey. Don t forget to bring your camera and wear comfortable shoes. March and ; April and Underwater Robots with Ocean Institute Noon - p.m. $ per child During this two-hour program, families will learn the basics of underwater robots, also known as ROVs or remotely operated vehicles. Parents and children will participate in side-by-side ROV frame construction, compete against each other in plankton races (which serve as an exercise in neutral buoyancy) and engage in retrieval tasks as they pilot ROVs through the pool. Families will also construct their own miniature ROV support vessel, to take home as a souvenir from their experience. There will be a variety of games, such as foosball, pingpong, tug of war, Frisbee, a bean bag toss, croquet and The Puttskee. April 1 Easter Egg Hunt :0 a.m. - noon Complimentary This exclusive event will have your children find and keep custom bug-shaped Easter eggs, while also searching for a golden egg to win an additional prize. Easter Brunch at :0 a.m. - :0 p.m. $ per adult, $ per child This beautiful Easter brunch buffet will feature food stations as well as customizable dishes. Easter Carnival Noon - p.m. $0 per child, complimentary for adults The Easter Carnival will include unlimited opportunities to learn about farm animals, take photos with the Easter Bunny, play lawn games and enjoy classic carnival treats like popcorn and cotton candy. Reptacular Ranch will offer unique experiences for children, including a 0-minute educational presentation and a petting zoo where they can meet a variety of animals. A cash bar will be available for adult guests ages 1 and older who are looking to indulge in some tasty libations. April Butterflies & Friends - p.m. $1 per child Kids will learn about the transformation process of butterflies, make a craft to take home with them and go on a fantastic adventure to visit the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary.
