ANNUAL POST SCOUTING REPORT Please complete and mail the attached report to you District Scouting Chairman by June 1st. Use the correct 'Annual Boy Scout Unit Report' or 'Annual Girl Scout Troop Report' form to report each Scout Unit. If reporting on more than one unit, please photocopy the form provided and use a separate form for each Scout unit sponsored or supported. (Pack, Troop, Post or Ship) - (Please modify the form if need be). Be sure to use separate sheet of paper to report all Service, Scout-O-Ramas, orees, Long Term ing, Exploring Specialty, Service to, and any other activities that your Scout unites) participated in during the past Scout Charter Year to qualify for Commission Awards. If your Legion Post did not sponsor a Scout unit, please mark 'NONE' on the line after Scout unit. (If interested in sponsoring a unit, please clearly indicate on unit leader line on either the Boy Scout or Girl Scout form and the commission will contact your post and the local scout council in your area). If your Legion Post supported, assisted or participated in Scouting during the year in any way, list the section marked 'REMARKS' and attach a separate report. If you have a Legionnaire who is doing an outstanding job in Scouting, the 'Outstanding Legionnaire Scouter' form should be submitted on his/her activities and submitted with the Legion Post Scouting Report. This report will determine the Award your Legion Post qualifies for and also the Department's standing nationally in the Legion Scout Program. The Scouting Commission is interested in the awards going to those who earn them, but the best units cannot win if they are not reported.
