CYS HOURLY CARE RESERVATION LINE MOVE Child and Youth Services (CYS) has moved the location of the hourly care reservation phone line. Although the phone number has not changed the manning of the phone will now be between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hourly care reservations may be made by calling 526-2463. If you call after hours or the phone is not answered, you may leave a message and a staff member will return your call. Reservations may also be made through the WebTrac site for any patrons who are registered with CYS. The URL to access WebTrac is: https://webtrac.mwr.army.mil/webtrac103/wbwsc/carsoncyms.wsc/wbsplash.html?wbp=1#. Usernames and passwords for WebTrac are provided upon registering with CYS. For more information or questions, contact CYS Parent Central Services at 526-1101. HOUSING SURVEY Fort Carson Family Homes residents are invited to participate in the 2017 Headquarters Department of the Army Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Resident Survey. Residents with a current email account on file with Fort Carson Family Homes will receive an email with the RCI survey link starting April 27. The survey end date is June 1. Residents who do not have an email account on file can call Fort Carson Family Homes at 579-1606 with their name and street address and they will be sent the survey link to access. The survey results are confidential. Survey participants are automatically entered in a drawing that will be conducted throughout the survey timeline. A grand prize will be awarded when survey participation reaches 50 percent. The following are some of the prizes available for survey participants: --The grand prize is one winner receiving a month of free rent in on post housing. --One winner from each of the 16 villages will each receive $100 off of one month of rent in on post housing. --Five winners will receive a free house cleaning upon moving out. --Five winners will receive a free carpet cleaning. --Two winners will receive a mini IPad. --One winner will receive a kitchen blender. There will also be weekly drawings for prizes to include one lawn mower, two weed eaters, one patio bistro set and other prizes. O CONNELL/MAGRATH TRAFFIC SIGNAL DAMAGE The intersection of O'Connell Boulevard and Magrath Avenue will be a four-way stop for the next few days due to damage to the traffic signal poles. Drivers may want to choose an alternate route to avoid the intersection if at all possible. TEDDY BEAR CLINIC The Fort Carson Veterinary Center invites community members to bring injured stuffed animals to the center May 29-30 for a short hospital stay during which the veterinary staff will suture and

repair lacerations and tears. Stuffed animals will be ready for pick up June 2 and June 5. Located in building 6190, across the street from the Exchange on Sheridan Avenue, the center is open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. CAREER SKILLS PROGRAM UPCOMING EVENTS (FLYERS) The Fort Carson Career Skills Program (CSP) offers opportunities for eligible transitioning service members to gain the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for successful careers after they transition from active duty. To be eligible for any CSP, transitioning service members must be on active duty and within 180 days of transitioning from service as of the class start date, anticipate fully honorable or under honorable conditions discharge and have approval of the first field grade commander in their chain to participate. Each program also has additional eligibility criteria. Interested transitioning service members are encouraged to attend the appropriate information session as indicated below. They can also visit the Career Skills Program Office (building 6236, rooms 101-104) Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
