2015 Red River Flooding The Red River main stem and tributaries high-water event impacted the Vicksburg District s area of responsibility in both Louisiana and Arkansas. The levee system performed as designed. The Red River levees experienced an extended period of high stages and many small seepage and sand boil sites were monitored daily.
