The project will include an environmental scan on existing economic opportunities, identify potential business opportunities, and provide an implementation plan. Capital Regional District (Port Renfrew) $10,000 This project will include a feasibility study for Port Renfrew Tourism Trail. This trail will link the San Juan River Bridge to the Community Pier at Snuggery Cove, connecting tourists to local businesses. City of Dawson Creek $10,000 This project will develop a health professional recruitment and retention program to assist Northern Health in assuring sustainable healthcare in the region. City of Nelson $9,000 Program funding will support the development of an implementation strategy for a digital technology focused business development center including incubation and co-working space. Haida Gwaii Museum $10,000 The project will complete a Strategic Destination Marketing Plan for the Haida Gwaii Museum & Haida Heritage Centre. Kalum Quarry Ltd $10,000 This project involves the creation of a marketing plan for Kalum Quarry Limited. This marketing plan involves selling the mine bi-products to local and regional markets. Lytton Indian Band $10,000 This project will develop a feasibility study and business plan for building of a Sustainable Food Hub to connect local institutional users of food with small local growers. Nak'azdli Whuten $10,000 This project will complete a feasibility assessment and business case analysis in support of a regional recycling plan. 'Namgis First Nation $10,000 This project will provide funding for the redevelopment of a historic resident building. This building has the potential to be a historic tourism attraction that uniquely embodies both First Nation and settler history. Nicomen Natural Resources Management Department, c/o Nicomen Indian Band $10,000 This project will develop a Clean Energy Opportunities report, focused on identifying diverse clean energy development opportunities available to the Nicomen Indian Band. 2

Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Regional District Of Mount Waddington $10,000 This project will develop a branding and marketing strategy for local meat producers, informing the public how their meat is treated and handled. This project will also develop other meat processing means and increase production of poultry and small livestock. $10,000 The Regional District will complete consultation for the design and site selection for public washroom facility near ferry terminal/shopping area. Simpcw First Nation $10,000 The project will support the development of a Trails Strategy, including business plan development, training, partnership building. Skeetchestn Natural Resources L.L.P. $10,000 The project will complete a feasibility study on the use of Structurally Insulated Panels for First Nations housing. Strathcona Regional District $10,000 Program funding will support the development of a digital connectivity strategy which will involve the creation of a Regional Connectivity Advisory Group. Strathcona Regional District $10,000 The project will complete a Recreation Area Study, including public consultation and a gap analysis, to determine how a potential recreation area could fit into the current existing trails/recreation area. The Port Alberni Shelter Society $8,300 This project will develop a feasibility study and business case for a farm and training center. This farm will grow food for the Port Alberni homeless population and provide training for aspiring farmers. Thompson-Nicola Regional District $10,000 This project will develop an implementation plan to clearly identify the social and environmental impacts of a Global Geopark site. 3

Tobacco Plains Indian Band $9,684 This project will complete a feasibility study and strategic business plan for the refurbishment and operation of the Tobacco Plains Indian Band Sawmill. Town of Golden $10,000 The project will complete a feasibility study on alternate access options for white-water rafting on the Lower Kicking Horse River. Town of Lake Cowichan $10,000 Program funding will support the development of an Economic Readiness Report for the Town of Lake Cowichan. Town of Oliver $10,000 The project will develop a Downtown Re-Vitalization Strategic Plan. Treaty 8 Tribal Association $10,000 This project involves the formation of the Northeast Regional Skills Training Committee, along with a work plan for improving First Nation participation in the Fort St. John workforce. Village of Ashcroft $9,975 This project will review several Subdivision Bylaws. These bylaws are the foundation for development within Ashcroft, including an inland port facility which could evolve to become a significant component of the Asia Pacific Gateway. Village of Cache Creek $10,000 The project will conduct a feasibility assessment on the purchase of half an existing landfill gas utilization project. Village of Canal Flats $10,000 This project will complete a project plan and business case for a community Economic Development Plan. Village of Chase $10,000 This project will develop an Economic Development Strategy, focused on identifying all economic development assets within the area. Village of Clinton $10,000 This project will complete a strategic opportunities and gap assessment of the assets that will create community growth and investment. The completed study will allow Clinton to market itself to investors and attract residential relocation. 4

Village of Cumberland $10,000 This project will develop an Economic Development Strategy, focused on economic resiliency and job growth. The Village of Cumberland will engage a consultant to help the community develop the plan. Village of Keremeos $10,000 This project will develop a strategic plan to improve the visual appeal of the village of Keremeos. Village of McBride $10,000 The project will complete a feasibility study to determine appropriate uses for a 15,000 square foot facility. The study will focus on community ideas and best practices for economic diversification. Village of Midway $10,000 This project will secure an individual to help with procurement and contracting services for community hall renovations. These renovations include considerations such as wheel-chair access and handicapped washrooms. Village of Nakusp $10,000 Development of Marketing and Tourism Action Development Plan for the Nakusp Hot Springs. Village of Port Clements $10,000 The project will develop an integrative transportation plan for the residents of Haida Gwaii and tourists. This project will ensure that future generations find the islands an attractive place to live and retire. Village of Sayward $10,000 This project will develop a business case for a tourism project at the waterfront. The concept is to build a walkway that links all the waterfront entities, including: restaurants, sitting, and viewing areas. Xa-xtsa - Douglas First Nation $10,000 This project will provide a feasibility study on the expansion of the Sloquet Hot Springs site. This expansion includes improving the forest service road and hot spring fed pools. Yunesit'in Government $8,500 This project will develop a feasibility study and business plan to determine a suitable price for purchasing the Taseko Lake Lodge. 5
