Invitation Dear Sponsors and Exhibitors, It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Seoul for the 24 th Asia Pacific Cancer Conference (APCC 2017), which will be held at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, Korea from June 22 nd to 24 th, 2017 under the theme of Building the Asia Pacific Standard of Cancer Care. This is an immense honor for both the APCC 2017 organizing committee and the entire faculty of the Korean Cancer Association to be hosting this event which will bring some of the brightest minds in the field of cancer and represent a unique chances for scientific cooperation and association at the international level. As the host of the 8 th and the 18 th APCC as well as other cancer related congresses, it gives us an extraordinary honor to hold the upcoming 24 th APCC Conference for the third time in Korea, where we have no doubt that it will be one of the best conferences. Our goal is to provide participants an opportunity to share and learn innovative techniques and results of promising research by cancer experts from all over the globe. About APFOCC The Asian and Pacific Federation of Organization for Cancer Research and Control (APFOCC) is the main body of the APCC, which is held every two years in the Asia Pacific region. The Asian Federation of Organizations for Cancer Research and Control (AFOCC), the forerunner of APFOCC, was founded in 1972 and the AFOCC was renamed as APFOCC (Asian and Pacific Federation of Organizations for Cancer Research and Control) in 1979. In total, twenty three APCC conferences were held biennially in 12 countries from 1973 to 2015 and the 24th APCC will be held in Korea. According to the WHO (World Health Organization) statistics, recent cancer burden is growing in Asian and Pacific countries. Therefore, mutual cooperation is the key for cancer care in this region, mainly to develop successful cases of cancer prevention and control and to strengthen collaborative networks among the countries. To have a close cooperative relationship, active members of related organizations are invited to the APCC Conference and they contribute to seminars, educational workshops and scientific programs. Priority in the selection of exhibition booth location, promotional items will also be based on sponsorship contribution level (Diamond Plus>Diamond>Platinum>Gold>Silver) and contract signing/initial payment date amongst sponsors of the same level. Sponsorship fees can be paid in two (2) installments. A minimum deposit of at least 30% of the total amount must be submitted along with the signed pledge form to confirm your sponsorship. Payment schedule and dates will be indicated in a contract. All cancellations must be made in writing. 50% of the initial deposit will be retained for cancellations requested by December 31, 2016. No refunds will be made for cancellations made from January 1, 2017. 10

Sponsorship Program Recognition of Major Sponsorship Benefits Exhibition Space & Exhibitor Badges As part of the recognition program, major sponsors will receive complimentary exhibition space and exhibitor badges commensurate with their sponsorship benefits. Special Choice Diamond Plus will have a special option to print the company logo either on Badge Lanyard or Conference Bags. Full Registrations Full registrations are same as Delegate conference registrations. Satellite Symposiums Sponsors are entitled to complimentary sponsored symposia as part of the recognition program. Complimentary symposia will take place in rooms with a seating capacity of 250, 500 persons depending on the sponsorship level. Promotional Video Sponsor s promotional video can be played before sessions for 30 sec. to 1 min and during the break. The video should be prepared by sponsors. Color Advertisement in Announcements/ Preliminary and Final Programs Sponsors will receive color advertisement in Conference publications. The number of pages varies depending on the sponsorship level. Advertisements must be submitted to the organizing committee for approval. Conference Bag Insert Company flyers may be inserted into all conference bags. Maximum of unfolded A4 or letter printed on one or both sides. Bottled water Sponsor s name or logo will appear on the bottle. The water will be placed near the session rooms and in the exhibition area. Hospitality Suite Diamond Plus sponsors are entitled to complimentary hospitality lounges located within the conference venue as part of the recognition program. These lounges may be used for meetings and private interactions with potential clients, among other uses. Use of Conference Title & Logo As part of the recognition program, major sponsors have the right to use the APCC 2017 Logo for the purpose of advertisement. How to Apply Application Guideline Submit the completed application form to the Conference Secretariat with a copy of business license at apcc2017@koconex.com or fax to +82-2-3476-8800. Payment Payment can be made by bank transfer only. All bank transfer fees must be paid by the company or organization. Major Sponsors - The sponsorship fees can be paid in two (2) installments. A minimum deposit of at least 30% of the total amount must be submitted along with the signed application form to confirm your sponsorship. Payment schedule and details will be indicated in the contract. Additional sponsorship - Some of items are exclusive on a first-come, first-served basis. To confirm the item, the total amount must be paid along with the signed application form. Exhibitors - To confirm your priority for the booth site allocation, the total booth fee must be paid along with the signed application form. Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be made in writing. 50% of the initial deposit will be retained for cancellations requested by December 31, 2016.
