Young people between 18 and 29 years. Typology: Young students of vocational schools in the sector of wine and food and culinary art, young chef, apprentices, young restaurateur, entrepreneur of hospitality sector, young aficionados and lovers of good and high quality cuisine. Note: The target group indicated will have the possibility to live a training experience and a not-formal learning important for their personnel and professional growth. For who works in this sector, instead, the experience will contribute to update his knowledge and to enhance the quality of his enterprise. Europe is first tourist destination all over the world, with highest density and differences of attractions. As a consequence, inside the Europe 2020 strategy, Industry of tourism is the key sector of European economy that produces more than 10% of European GNP, it employs 9,7 million of people and it involves 1,8 million of enterprises. The tourism increases employment and regional development, it supports sustainable development, it creates a greater natural and cultural Heritage, it builds a

European identity. In this contest, the Europe 2020 strategy follows these objectives: 1) Territorial cohesion; 2) Safeguarding and enhancement of natural and cultural Heritages; 3) Capability to defy at impact of climatic changes and to lessen structural modifies that tourism could entail; 4) To strengthen sentiment of European citizenship; 5) Knowledge of rights and laws that European citizens could use when they move inside and out of European Union. To achieve these objectives, actions to do can be to reunite around 4 main strands: 1) To encourage competitiveness of European tourist sector; 2) To promote development of tourism sustainable, responsible and high-quality; 3) To reinforce the image of Europe like collection of sustainable and high quality destinations; 4) To maximize potential of financial policies of EU for development of tourism. About COSME programme, this project answers to these general objectives: 1) To reinforce competitiveness and sustainability of European Enterprises, above all SMEs; 2) To promote entrepreneurial culture and a growth of SMEs. The proposal especially aims to young tourism with ambition to become a model and to answer to main needs and obstacles that youth has. These obstacles can be a barrier for transnational mobility. The model could be repeated and posted in other contests. Indeed, the project wants to create the opportunity to submit an innovative tourist proposal during the semester of Expo 2015 in Milan (since May to October 2015). A proposal characterized with theme of high quality food, wine and food culture like excellence resource of territory, a transnational proposal at European Level, totally dedicated to young people. In this outlook, the project wants to analyse, plan and verify, thanks to implementation of Pilot Project, a new tourist and transnational itinerary reserved to students and youngers (formal and not-formal) between 18 and 29 years. The Pilot Project will be about concepts of Active Tourism and travel of experiences. A travel during that the sensorial sphere is totally involved in knowledge of places through food, culinary traditions, through the awareness of importance of culture of food, of good eating and of quality life. A travel to discover the big and rich wine and food heritage in Europe, the contaminations of tastes and flavours between different countries, respecting ancient tradition. Young people involved will have the possibility to test new ideas, to obtain new competences, to build new networks, to be involved in thematic activities and to live an extraordinary experience of personnel and professional growth. The new tourist product will aim to satisfy needs of a specific target, testing a strategy to approach tourist market and to launch the product (marketing mix). The strategy will be characterized by particular price policies, distribution and promotion, keeping high the quality thanks to choice of specific structures, transportations, services and collateral experiences. New technologies of information and use of last version applications and channels of communication will allow not only managing the project by partners and to launch and promote the new product on market, to arrive at target group directly and to guarantee a free access and an easy usability. Therefore, the achievement will be a transnational model, oriented to law and medium season and characterized by: innovation, accessibility, socio-cultural and

economic sustainability, quality and high quality portability. Objectives Strategic Objectives: 1. To sustain the extension of tourist season, enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs and the employment; 2. To reinforce the transnational cooperation between all operators that work along all chain of value; 3. To facilitate the European partnership between public bodies and private entities; 4. To reinforce the sense of European Citizenship between young people enhancing mobility inside EU. Specific Objectives: Work Plan To answer to main needs and limits of young people during transnational mobility; To plan and launch a tourist and transnational product to increase tourist flows in law and medium season; To realize a copy model transferable in other contests; To launch a innovative tourist proposal totally oriented to young people in the occasion of Expo 2015 in Milan (Since May to October 2015); To build a Pilot Project characterized by: innovation, accessibility, sociocultural and economic sustainability, high quality; To give to young people the opportunity of an active travel to do a fantastic experience, to increase our knowledge and competences, to enjoy themselves and to find services, structures and operator of the sector; To value and promote culinary European heritage inside a strategy of positioning of the product inside international markets, respecting tradition and excellences of territories involved; To create conditions for creation of new relationships and new networks between stakeholders and target groups (young people); To promote culture of feeding and of quality life; To promote entrepreneurial culture; To promote using of new technologies of information to rediscover, know and value history, traditions, values of past and to win future challenges. WP.1: Project coordination and management. Outputs/Deliverables: 1.1. Kick-off meeting (Bruxelles); 1.2. Intermediate conferences, update and evaluating meeting about the status of the project; 1.3. Management of internal communication, information flows and archiving documents; 1.4. Coordination and management of partnership; 1.5. Check, control and monitoring the project status; 1.6. WP.2: Implementation of networking activities aimed at identifying needs of

the target groups. 2.1. Activity to raise awareness of information and involvement of the target groups (meetings, discussion groups, etc.); 2.2. Identification of the reference sample; 2.3. Selection of representatives and opinion leaders of the target group; 2.4. Survey sample (focus groups, discussion groups, interviews, questionnaires); 2.5. Processing of the survey results; 2.6. Processing, dissemination and sharing of the Final Report of the activity and results of the survey. Search and selection of the sources of data and information of analysis; 3.2. Market analysis; 3.3. Identification and analysis of existing and potential demand; 3.4. Identification and analysis of the existing and potential offer; 3.5. SWOT analysis; 3.6. Identification of the strategy and development of the proposed itinerary; 3.7. Analysis and planning of marketing mix strategy; 3.8. Preparing, sharing and dissemination of the Project of Tourist Product. Coordinator activities / Responsible subject: Research Institute / University / touristic SMEs. WP.4: Design and development (Test) Pilot Project transnational low-mid season. Note: The activity will involve 2 organizations from 2 different countries 4.1. Implementation of information and involvement activities (networking); 4.2. Selection of the sample international test according to the target identified; 4.3. Selecting the territorial context concerned; 4.4. Locating the operating timing (low season); 4.5. Identification and selection of products, services, facilities and activities; 4.6. Implementation of actions of involvement and training of the operators and stakeholders involved; 4.7. Planning and programming activities; 4.8. Running the Test Pilot and welcoming participants (Execution Mobility Plan); Coordinator activities / Responsible subject: Public and private organizations and non-profit or SMEs in the tourism sector and active in the field of young people. WP.5: Collection, Evaluation and processing of results of the Test Pilot. 5.1 Data collection and document control, monitoring and evaluation; 5.2 Definition of the results expected / desired (Desired Outcome Map);
