2017-18 CSU Application www.csumentor.edu The application is online and available at www.csumentor.edu Application Filing Period for Fall 2017 is October 1 st November 30 th, 2017 You must complete an application for each CSU campus that you want to apply for The quick way to apply to multiple campuses is to complete one application in it s entirety and then to start your additional applications. Application Fee is $55 per application Fee Waivers are available within the application. An approved fee waiver allows you to apply to 4 campuses free of charge. If you are applying to more than 4 campuses you must pay the $55 application fee for those additional campuses There are 2 types of fee waivers EOPS Fee waiver and the regular fee waiver. If you are an EOPS student use the EOPS fee waiver.
2017-18 CSU Application International Students What Application Do I Complete? Cal Poly SLO and CSU Fullerton require students with an F-1 or J-1 visa to complete the regular undergraduate application. Cal Poly Pomona and San Diego State allow students whose college work is only from U.S. colleges to submit the regular undergraduate application. Students who have completed college work outside of the U.S. need to use the International Application. All other campuses require students with an F-1 or J-1 visa to complete the International Application.
2017-18 CSU Application Applying to Cal Poly SLO? Information/Materials You Need to Complete the CPSLO Application Completing the application accurately is a Cal Poly SLO admission requirement. Your application is reviewed by the computer with Cal Poly s selection software. No human reviews the application to determine your admission. Therefore, it is critical that you record the courses in the appropriate section on the application. To ensure that you receive the maximum points for having the requirements completed, use the CPSLO Transfer Supplemental guide to assist you in putting the correct courses in their designated spaces. The Guide to completing the Cal Poly SLO Supplemental Application is available in the Transfer Center or at http://www.sbcc.edu/transfercenter/californiastateuniversities.php
Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) AA-T & AS-T What are they? The Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) is a new degree offered at California Community Colleges. Students who earn an ADT degree and meet the CSU minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed admission to a CSU, but not necessarily to a particular campus or major. With the ADT, you may be given a GPA bump when applying to an impacted campus outside your local area or an impacted major that is deemed similar. In addition, once at the CSU, if you are admitted and enrolled in a designated similar degree program you have the opportunity to complete your bachelor s degree with as little as 60 semester units

Information/Materials You Need to Complete the CSU Application Copies of all your college transcripts and AP or IB Exam results. You can obtain your SBCC unofficial transcript from Pipeline. Select Student Records link and then click on Academic Transcript. The courses you will be enrolled in each term prior to transfer. Your CSU transferable GPA and grade points, number of CSU transferable units you have completed to date, and the total number of transferable units you will have completed prior to enrolling at the CSU campus. If you have only attended SBCC run the CSU Units and GPA Summary report available through the Course Planning link via Pipeline. Click on the Student tab on your Pipeline homepage. If you have attended other colleges Make sure and use the CSU College Information Worksheet available in the Transfer Center or at http://www.sbcc.edu/transfercenter/californiastateuniversities.php
Identify the courses you are using to fulfill the following CSU requirements and the term you took/will take each course. Before you log off, make sure and save what you have completed. You can log on again and continue working on the application. Email The campuses will correspond with you via email so make sure and keep the same email address throughout this year. Check your Spam mail as well as your inbox.
