Status ¾ NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation Restored
NEASC 2003 NEASC Accreditation Team Evaluation in 2003 put CHS on a WARNING status.
NEASC re-consideration 2008 The CHS 2010 building project was completed. 21 st century curriculum work was initiated. Instructional Levels were reduced from 4 to 3. CHS regained its ACCREDITED status
Status PBGR Awarding a StateSanctioned Diploma
Commissioner s Review 2007 CHS s submitted materials for PBGR compliance were insufficient and unacceptable. 2008 CHS singled out by RIDE as significantly behind in the process of building PBGR capacity. 2009 October Team from RIDE came to CHS to review upgraded PBGR submission. The purpose of the review was to determine if CHS is able to award a state sanctioned diploma.
Commissioner s Review Decision of RIDE: CHS was notified that it is able to award a state sanctioned diploma through 2012. This is the longest time granted to any school.
