SHARE Clinical Portal Training A series of learning modules are available 24/7 online on the provincial Learning Management System (LMS). There are two ways to get to LMS: 1. Type this url into your browser: https://elearning.nshealth.ca. 2. Go to the My Page tab and click on the LMS link. How do I find my Patient s Results? First find the patient in one of three ways: Through a Patient Search On your My Patient Census On your Personal Worklist

On your My Patient Census Patient Search My Patient Census Results Clinical Reports Facesheet Personal Worklist My Page If you are associated as a provider to the actively registered patient, the patient should already be on your My Patient Census. How do I find specific results or clinical reports? Get to the Results tab as described on the previous page. To narrow your search, filter or sort the results then select the result(s) you want to see. Filtering Looking for results from a specific date or encounter All Ancillary: Choose lab results, radiology results, or both from the drop down list New results: Click this check box to get New results Today s results: Click this check box to get Today s results Filtering, sorting, and selecting is the same for Clinical Reports. Get to Clinical Reports by selecting that tab. Results by test class: Click this check box to separate lab and radiology results Date range: Click on the Start On check box, enter a start date mm/dd/yyyy (today s date is the default), enter number of days to go back, click REFRESH or press Enter on your keyboard to get results within the range Procedure Description Search: Type any part of the test name in the procedure description box, click REFRESH or press Enter on your keyboard

Sorting Looking for a specific result Sort test results and clinical reports by clicking on any of the column headers. For example, click on Item (Order Number) to sort results and clinical reports in alphabetical order. How do I trend and graph results? 1 Click the check box(es) of the tests to trend. 2 Click the Show Selected Results button. When calling the Helpdesk remember to tell them you re calling about SHARE, and Have pertinent details ready to support the issue being reported, such as a patient identifying number Be specific about the issue you re having, such as a problem viewing a record, a password problem, or an expected patient report is not there Confirm or supply a phone number where you can be reached for follow-up contact If you re calling from inside a hospital to report a hardware issue (e.g., PC, printer), confirm or supply the hardware device label information Record the ticket # assigned to your reported issue for follow-up, if necessary If you ve not been contacted within a reasonable timeframe, call the Helpdesk quoting the ticket # you ve been assigned
