Embrace and Engage Together with Sisterly Love Host Chapters Mississippi Gulf Coast Alumnae and Moss Point Alumnae 2018 Call to Cluster IP Casino & Resort Biloxi, Mississippi January 19-21, 2018 Sandra K. Horton, Regional Director Jessica M. Shotwell, Regional Representative Welcome to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi

Welcome Sorors! Dear Sorors of the State of Mississippi: As we prepare for the 2018 Mississippi Cluster, we welcome you to the great city of Biloxi! This year, we invite you to Embrace and Engage Together with Sisterly Love as we renew our commitment to 105 years of the continued service of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Our vision continues to include all sorors, collegiate and alumnae, each having a vital role in advancing the sisterhood. Understanding these roles will empower chapters to better serve our communities, embrace the talents of collegiate and alumnae members, and engage those members to create opportunities that will advance the region and enhance each chapter in a powerful way. The Regional Leadership Team, along with our host chapters, Mississippi Gulf Coast Alumnae and Moss Point Alumnae chapters, have worked untiringly to prepare purposeful, enlightening and informative sessions with entertaining opportunities for sisterly camaraderie and fun. The weekend celebration will begin with an opportunity for sorors to participate in stimulating workshops and enjoy a fellowship-filled Welcome Event. On Saturday, January 20, after rededicating ourselves to the Sorority, we will participate in Service in the City of Biloxi, as well as at the Cluster site. We are asking each soror to sign up and participate in a service project while we are in Biloxi. This will provide all of us with the privilege of walking in the footsteps of our beloved Founders. On Saturday night, we will celebrate! After we perform our service, we will put on our cocktail attire and enjoy an evening of entertainment during the Celebrating Our Founders Dinner Celebration. On Sunday, January 21, we will end the weekend with a Word from God during our Ecumenical Service. Each registrant must submit a completed online registration form and funds to her local chapter for final submittal. A chapter registration form should be completed, identifying all participating members, and a chapter check, cashier check or money order must be submitted for the total registration fee to the host chapter. Registration fees are $95 for alumnae and $75 for collegiate sorors. The instructions for registration are included in the Call to Cluster document. THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. We look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Mississippi Cluster/Statewide Founders Day. If you have questions regarding the event or the registration process, please contact: Mississippi State Coordinator, Carshena L. Bailey mississippicoordinator@dstsouthernregion.com
