SERVICE HISTORY OF THE 105TH INFANTRY REGIMENT.

SEVENTY-FIFTH REGIMENT OHIO VOLUNTEER INFANTRY. THREE YEARS SERVICE. This Regiment was organized at Camp John McLean, Ohio, from Novem ber 7, 1861, to January 8, 1862, to serve three years. The original members (except veterans) were mustered out by detachments at different dates, from November 16. 1864, to January 17, 1865, by reason of expiration of term of service, and the veterans and recruits consolidated into a Battalion of two companies and retained in service until July 27, 1865, when it was mustered out in accordance with orders from the War Department.
