Introduction A key component of succession planning is the sustainment of a cadre of highly talented senior managers. This report describes the status of the General Schedule (GS) 15s and Senior Executives within the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). This information enables management to make informed decisions regarding the development and recruitment of GS-15s, in an effort to ensure OI&T maintains a pool of highly qualified staff capable of assuming vacant executive positions effectively. The Office of Workforce and Policy Management compiled this information utilizing PAID data available through the ProClarity Analytics Platform s Human Resources cube dated October 6, 2011; the Monthly Positions Report (COIN P-31) dated 09/30/2011; and the Retirement Eligibility of Employees (COIN P-49) dated 09/30/2011 located on the Rogers Software Development (RSD) portal of the Austin Automation Center z/os Enterprise server. SES Cadre: Strength Report and Turnover Outlook for October 2011 There was no change in the SES Cadre. OI&T has 20 senior executive service (SES) employees and one GS-16 (senior leader) assigned.
