To receive email notification of addendums and other updates, Bidders need to log on the website via their ID and password. A bidder, after logging in and downloading project files, is automatically added to the project s plan holders list and the email notification list. This will be the last addendum of this project to be sent out certified mail unless a bidder requests a certified mail addendum by calling 612-348-3181. NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS: Pre-letting Conference On July 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., a pre-letting meeting was held to discuss the following: 1) Project schedule only work to be done this year is clearing around bridge to allow the archaeology consultant access to photograph and document the bridge to meet SHPO and CRU requirements as stated in the Lyndale Bridge Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) (attached). 2) Work on bridge demolition shall be in 2012. On page 7-S, in S-6.2, in the first sentence, revise bond in cover the full to in full. 2. On page 9-S, in S-6.5, delete the definition paragraph and replace with the following: Definition of Failure: Failure shall be determined by if the Contractor s qualified personnel can pick structural sound stones to be reused in construction of wall on west side of bridge north and south of creek, and if after one year, the stones have crumbled and deteriorated such that the wall has failed or will fail shortly and not meet the Contractor s plan, the Contractor shall rebuild the wall at his expense. A plan must be submitted to the County to show how the Contractor will meet requirements in S-55.7 to pick the stones and storage and reinstall the stones. 3. On page 14-S, in S-13.2 change the time from a.m. to p.m. 4. On page 14-S, in S-13.2 1) the single package with photographs may exceed email file size limitations. The photographs may be hand delivered or sent by mail as long as they arrive by July 26, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. and it is noted in the package that they are not included but are being sent either by hand delivery or mail. On 15-S, in S-13.2 Form C, the form shall be submitted either by the general contractor or a subcontractor to be reviewed by the county in order to qualify for the required work. A list of qualified contractors/subcontractors will be posted on egram and a form will be available on egram for a bidder to state who they will be using to meet the Special Provisions. The form shall be submitted with the bid. 6. On page 15-S, in S-13.3 delete the following in the third paragraph, second sentence: as indicated in attachments to the ARCHITECTURAL SPECIAL PROVISIONS. 7. On page 50-S, in S-33.1, it is stated that the MOA is attached to Special Provisions but is instead attached to this Addendum. 8. On page 71-S, in S-41.2 add: (E) The bridge removal and road closure shall start after January 15, 2012. 9. On page 134-S, in S-79, the 4 th paragraph, change A-31.1 to S-33.1. Christopher O.
