Accessible Americas II: Information and Communication for ALL A REGIONAL EVENT FOR THE AMERICAS ORGANIZED BY: INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS UNION (ITU) MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (MINTIC) Medellin, Colombia 4, 5 and 6 November 2015 at the San Fernando Plaza Hotel Tentative Agenda Over 1 billion people live with some kind of disability. Accessible Americas II: Information and Communication for ALL will focus on the importance on the importance of ICTs to empower PwD emphasizing that only through the cooperation of all Parties involved - we can ensure the successful development of tools, capacity building and the development of policies and strategies among other necessary actions - it is possible to remove barriers and enable the empowerment of Person with Disability and human development in inclusive societies.
