Course Description The 6th Annual AMC Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Symposium provides yearly state of the art updates concerning major clinical topics in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The course faculty are regional, national, and international experts in these fields. Objectives To give the practitioner of pulmonary and critical care medicine a state of the art update in terms of the screening, diagnosis, and /or treatment of the following conditions: Sarcoidosis Interstitial Lung Disease Pulmonary Hypertension Sleep Medicine Lung Cancer Sepsis Muscle Dysfunction in the ICU Target Audience This course is designed for general practitioners, internists, family medicine physicians, pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, nurses including critical care nurses, and pharmacists. Attire Business casual or appropriate clinical attire. Since everyone has a different comfort level, we suggest that you dress in layers or bring a sweater or light jacket. The Hilton Garden Inn-Troy will be three quarters of a mile up the hill on the left-hand side. From the South: Take the NYS Thruway/ I-87 North towards Albany. Merge onto I-787 North, via Exit 23 towards Downtown Albany/ Rensselaer/Troy, for about 9 miles. Merge onto NY 7 via Exit 9E towards Troy/Bennington.
