In 1989 a group of anglers and friends got together with a single vision, which was to create a tournament that would showcase the passion of the anglers in this area and the bounty of South Carolina s offshore fishing grounds. Bohicket Marina s premier location between Seabrook and Kiawah Islands has been providing the SC Governor s Cup participants easy access to the offshore fishing grounds since the inaugural Tournament. Today this Tradition continues on as we at Bohicket Marina work hard to maintain this vision while also ensuring that the participants, sponsors, and guests receive the finest in Southern Hospitality, and that the Tournament gives back to the local community. In 2016, just as in our previous Tournament years, Bohicket Marina will raise our tents and invite the best of our international sporting community to join the fun. PRINTED MATERIALS Sponsors of the Bohicket Invitational receive credit on printed materials and advertising materials, corresponding to the level of sponsorship. Advertising materials include registration form, posters and brochure. MEDIA & TELEVISION The Bohicket Invitational receives extensive media coverage on television, radio, newspapers, etc. both at the tournament level and at the series level.
