Annexure 2 JUDICIAL TRAINING & RESEARCH, U.P., LUCKNOW GUIDELINES FOR MANAGEMENT TRAINING AT IIM, Lucknow 1. The programme would begin at 09:30 am on January 05, 2015 and would conclude at 05:30 pm on January 09, 2015. The participants shall not be allowed to leave the Institute before 05:30pm. 2. The officers participating in the training programme are expected to maintain absolute discipline and punctuality for all the formal sessions as also to maintain proper decorum during the sessions. 3. The officers are expected to adhere to the Government Servant Conduct Rules, 1956 as also their conduct should be in accordance with the highest standards of judicial discipline and ethics. The conduct of the officers should be of the kind which tends to enhance the image of the judiciary in the estimation of the IIML establishment and others. 4. The IIML faculty which has put in great labour and has made sincere efforts to design this programme, must be given due respect and the training programme should be taken in all seriousness. 5. Though the IIML has not prescribed any dress-code but keeping in mind the sanctity and the traditions of the Judiciary all officers are expected to be properly dressed for all the sessions as also being appropriately dressed up while attending the mess or during their stay at the IIML. (e.g. during all formal sessions, the male officers are expected to wear a coat/suit and tie and being formally dressed while attending the mess) 6. The programme has been designed to disseminate knowledge and information in participative and interactive mode. But at the same time it is extremely important that the officers participating in the programme should maintain proper decency and decorum in the classes. The officers are expected to give proper respect to all the faculty members and in particular the lady faculty members, and should desist from indulging in unnecessary arguments, passing uncalled-for remarks and causing interruptions. The officers are also expected to be attentive during the sessions. 7. No Judicial Officer will be permitted to be accompanied with his / her spouse or children or security staff / attendant during the Training Period as no additional accommodation is available at IIML 8. The discipline, within the premises, in accordance with the rules and regulation of the IIML shall be strictly adhered to. 9.
