The ESRIN app camps
The ESRIN Space App Camps - Background Mission To promote the development of apps for mobile devices enhanced by Copernicus data, to support the Copernicus user uptake and to create know-how and jobs in the long term. Participants Since 2012, more than 400 developers applied to produce mobile apps using EO data on smartphones, coming from nearly 30 countries. 20 developers are selected each year.
Results In the last five years more than 900 developers applied for the ESA App Camp, coming from more than 60 different countries. 20 participants are selected each year.

Winning App at 2017 ESRIN App Camp Winning Team 2017 AIR AiR is a travel app for ios devices developed by team Limoncello. It allows to use Augmented Reality to take air travellers out of their seats and into the sky.
