August 31, 2015 Women in Business Hosted by Athens Orthopedic Clinic This month s Women in Business was a little different than usual, instead of a lunch we had an After Hours and it was hosted by Athens Orthopedic Clinic! Sherri Goggin and the staff did such a wonderful job, thank you so much. When the ladies first arrived they were greeted with refreshments and food by Taziki s Mediterranean Café! Next Lauren Peterson, Specialist Coach, talked to us about healthy habits: eating right, injury prevention and staying in shape. We also had a special treat when Dr. Jack Manfredi and Dr. Alonzo Sexton stopped by to say hello to the ladies. After that we got to walk down the hall to see SPARC, their Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Center. SPARC is their state-of-the-art facility that offers services to the public including small group classes, personal training, education, physical and nutritional assessments, and massage therapy. Adam Nelson, SPARC director, spoke to us about their facilities there as well as gave us tips on how to exercise behind a desk!! It was a great Women in Business and very informative! Again thank you to everyone at Athens Orthopedic Clinic and SPARC for such a great event! Executive Board Chairman of the Board Coleman Benko, Oconee State Bank Chair Elect Joey Wilson, AmeriPride Treasurer Rodney Kalessa, Caterpillar Secretary Eric Skipper, University of North Georgia Past Chair Jonathan Schwartz, First American Bank President Kay Keller Platinum Corporate Sponsors

Back row from left Burton Windsor, Daniel Thompson. At the bottom, Jackson, the dog. Well, the day finally came, Saucehouse is open for business! Saucehouse s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting was last week. A joint event with both the Oconee Chamber & Athens Chamber, a great crowd turned out to celebrate the opening of this fabulous food establishment right outside downtown Athens. After the Ribbon Cutting most everyone stayed around for Saucehouse s official first day of lunch! It was so delicious and we highly recommend you stop by and taste the goods! We are so excited for them. Saucehouse has a great team of staff, that go above and beyond! Even Jackson (the dog) decided to get in on the activities!! Congratulations Saucehouse, we can t wait to eat there again!!
