THE BOOSTER LINE A NEWSLETTER DEDICATED TO GREENE COUNTY FIRE VOLUNTEERS SPRING 2015 GREENE COUNTY DAY 2015 Greene County Day is scheduled for June 7th, 2015 and is being hosted by West Athens-Lime Street Fire Company. The day will commence with the annual Horseshoe Tournament at 8am. Parade line-up will begin at 1:30pm in the school parking lot. Step-off will be at 2pm. Letters with full information will be going out the beginning of March.

Attention All Greene County Firefighters... The roster is now available for Firefighter Survival. Class dates: March 3 & 7, 2015 7PM Cairo Training Center Instructor Dwon Chief Officers, please sign-up your students by filling out the online Training Course Enrollment will open up 3 weeks before the start of class and will be closed 1 week before the class starts. Please visit the websitehttp://greenegovernment.com/departments/emergencyservices/ for further training and information in Greene County A FUN EVENING: Each Friday during the winter months, Catskill Fire Company hosts a shuffle board tournament with members from the NYS Firemen s Home in Hudson. It is to be noted that the members at the home are hard to beat.

HELMETS OFF SALUTE: Mother Nature has delivered a tough blow this winter. However, despite all the elements she threw at us, the Greene County volunteer firefighters remained true to their cause. We suffered several tough structure fires in various parts of Greene County under harsh weather conditions. To each and every volunteer who gave up their own warm house to respond to a call, The Booster Line says thank you and salutes you! CATSKILL LADIES AUXILIARY PLAY CUPID The snow was flying and the wind chill was frigid but on Sunday, February 15, everything was cozy and warm as the Ladies Auxiliary to the Catskill Fire Company hosted their annual Valentine s Day party at the NYS Firemen s Home in Hudson. Delicious refreshments were provided and the crowd was entertained with music by a one-man band. A good time and enjoyable day was had by all.
