CUNA ELLy Award Packet Checklist of items to prepare your CUNA ELLy entry: Complete CUNA ELLy Entry Form this provides identifying information about your submission and your credit union. Answer CUNA ELLy Entry Questionnaire this provides an opportunity for you to answer questions specific to your entry category, provide supporting documentation and a video summary of your entry. If you are entering more than one category, please complete the questions required for each category. Questionnaire CUNA ELLy Awards 2018 Questionnaire Please respond to the following questions based on the award category in which you are submitting: Best Production Design Award: This award recognizes achievement in the visual, functional and interactive graphic design of educational materials. 1. How do your educational materials demonstrate futuristic thinking in training? 2. What was the return on investment (ROI) for the credit union? (examples: increased sales, service scores, loan growth, deposit growth, new memberships, etc.) Include before and after data. 3. How did the materials support training? Did they generate excitement and interest among staff? 4. How do the materials support the overall mission and vision of the credit union? 5. What makes these materials different from other training materials? elearning Award: This award demonstrates how technology-based training was incorporated into, and enhanced, credit union training programs. 1. How does the elearning program or university support futuristic thinking in training? 2. How does the elearning program or university impact the credit union s success? (examples: increased sales, service scores, loan growth, deposit growth, new memberships, etc.) Include before and after data. 3. Describe how elearning is used in your credit union to support staff development. 4. How does elearning support the overall mission and vision of the credit union? 5. How has technology-based training changed the learning culture at the credit union? Provide details of before and after moving to elearning. Training Champion Award: This award singles out senior management staff that go beyond the call of duty to support and develop the training in his or her credit union. 1. How does this member of the senior team support training as a strategic tool? 2. How does this member of the senior team make training a priority in the organization? 3. What additional financial support has been provided for training because of this senior team member? Allocating budget dollars to training and/or training space? Allowed for an increase in number of staff dedicated to training? 4. How does this individual support the overall mission and vision of the credit union? 5. What makes this individual different from other senior team members?
Questionnaire Training Professional: This award honors exceptional achievements in performance and learning by a credit union training professional or department. 1. How does the trainer or department demonstrate futuristic thinking in training? 2. How did the trainer or department impact the credit union s success? (examples: increased sales, service scores, loan growth, deposit growth, new memberships, etc.) 3. How did the trainer or department impact staff development? 4. How does the trainer or department support the overall mission and vision of the credit union? 5. What sets this trainer or department apart? What makes them extraordinary? WOW Award: This award is presented to the credit union with the best overall training program or event one that inspires learning, teaches skills that go beyond the classroom and leaves participants empowered. 1. How does this program or event demonstrate futuristic thinking in training? 2. What was the return on investment (ROI) for the credit union? (examples: increased sales, service scores, loan growth, deposit growth, new memberships, etc.) Include before and after data. 3. How did this program successfully develop staff? Provide details on how skills were applied outside of the classroom. 4. How does this program or event support the overall mission and vision of the credit union? 5. What makes this program or event more exciting or experiential than other training programs? Provide details on staff involvement. FOR ALL CATEGORIES: 1. Each entry should include a 1-2 minute video summary of why your entry is the best submission in your category. This video may be showcased at the award ceremony. 2.
