Together, we can increase our impact in our communities. ArcelorMittal s Give Boldly employee giving program is designed to: Provide an opportunity for you to support an organization to which you are personally committed Reinforce the importance of supporting our local communities Increase total community impact In addition to matching your charitable donations made to a nonprofit organization, ArcelorMittal provides financial support to programs that align with our focus areas of education, with a special emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM), environment, and health and safety. To learn more about ArcelorMittal s corporate giving efforts, visit usa.arcelormittal.com/sustainability. Why should I participate in the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program is designed to make charitable giving easy, convenient and meaningful for you. By matching your gift, our combined resources can help to transform our communities by increasing your donation. By participating in the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program, you can maximize your contribution and impact on the nonprofit organization(s) to which you are most committed. Additionally, 100 percent of the funds go directly to your designated nonprofit organization. There are no administrative fees paid for by you or the nonprofit. All administrative fees are paid by ArcelorMittal. Who is responsible for the program guidelines? If you have any questions about the guidelines, please email the program vendor at arcelormittal@easymatch.com or call 1.866.295.5455. The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program guidelines are managed by ArcelorMittal s corporate responsibility team and designed with input from company leadership, the USA Sustainable Development Council (a multi-disciplinary group of USA-wide managers that reviews and provides recommendations on overall CR objectives, employee and stakeholder engagement, and philanthropy), and Councils for Stronger Communities (CSCs). CSCs are employee councils that work to build and sustain quality community partnerships, manage stakeholder engagement, and identify or improve local corporate responsibility programs and initiatives and are locally led at USA facilities. Program guidelines How is the program structured? ArcelorMittal USA s Give Boldly program matches up to $1,500 per year per employee on direct or payroll giving contributions when a match is requested on qualifying contributions. Since 2010, ArcelorMittal USA has budgeted up to $750,000 per year to match employee contributions which is matched quarterly throughout the year on a first come first served basis until that threshold is reached. ArcelorMittal will match and/or deduct your financial donations to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits or tax-exempt police and fire departments and schools within the constraints of the eligibility requirements listed below. Please see FAQs on organization eligibility for full explanation of a 501(c)(3) organization. ArcelorMittal Give Boldly Program overview: Minimum gift per corporate match request: $50 Minimum amount deducted from your paycheck: $1 per paycheck Maximum of 5 match requests (for a maximum total of $1,500) per employee per year You can request a corporate match for gifts made directly (e.g. through cash, check, credit card, stock) to a nonprofit organization and/or for charitable deductions made through payroll Gifts can also be made via credit card to a nonprofit organization (and matched by ArcelorMittal) directly through the program website Gifts are not automatic they must be requested through the website or on the Give Boldly paper pledge form Match requests must be electronically submitted or postmarked by December 31 of the year the gift is made in order to be considered for a matching gift within that calendar year (the date of the gift is based on the date the employee made the gift to the nonprofit) No carry-over of the annual eligible match gift is permitted from year to year. The $1,500 available match must be used within the calendar year it is applicable. How much will ArcelorMittal match of my gift? ArcelorMittal will provide a maximum corporate match of $1,500 per employee per calendar year for the Give Boldly program. The $1,500 can be given through up to five one-time gift(s) made directly to an organization, or through payroll deduction to one organization or a maximum of five organizations with a minimum gift of $50 per organization or transaction. Is there a budget, or cap, for the employee match portion of the annual Give Boldly Each year, ArcelorMittal will determine the program budget, or cap, based on national benchmarks provided by our Give Boldly vendor, available funds and program usage. Since 2010, ArcelorMittal USA has budgeted up to $750,000 per year to match employee contributions which is matched quarterly throughout the year on a first come first served basis until that threshold is reached. The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program operates on a calendar year and is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the annual cap is met, the program is closed until the following year. ArcelorMittal recommends that employees submit a match request as soon as the gift is made to the nonprofit.

How do I know if the cap has been reached? If the cap is met for that program year, a message will be displayed on the homepage of www.arcelormittalgiveboldly.com or you will be notified via postal mail or email at the time of request. Is there a program deadline? How is the annual match request limit of $1,500 determined? The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program operates on a calendar year (January 1 December 31) and matches are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Matches will only be considered for employee gifts made in the current calendar year and requests must be postmarked no later than December 31*. The eligibility date of your gift is determined by the date you made the contribution to the nonprofit organization. Once the $1,500 annual maximum is met, no additional matches will be considered for you in that program year. * It is recommended that you submit a match request at the same time as, or soon after, making your donation to a nonprofit. Employee eligibility Who is eligible to participate in the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly You must be an active, full-time employee in good standing with a minimum of 90 days of service and paid through a participating payroll system to participate in the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program. Employees that are not eligible include: Part-time, seasonal, per-diem, temporary, retired or contract employees or interns Spouses, surviving spouses or domestic partners Some expatriates may not qualify; please see your human resources department to confirm Employees not paid through a participating payroll system What if my husband/wife writes the donation check? We determine eligibility based on records of the organization. If their records show anyone other than you as the sole donor, unfortunately, the request will be denied and the organization will not receive the match. (A personal check from a joint banking account is acceptable, but must be signed by the employee.) Will my personal information be shared? Any personal information collected by the Give Boldly program administrator is used for the sole purpose of administering the program and ensuring a safe and secure transaction. This information will not be shared or sold for any reason. When you participate in Give Boldly, you have the option to select a donor recognition level. You may select to provide your name and contact information or to remain anonymous. If you do not select an option, then the default action performed by the campaign is to release your name only. ArcelorMittal does not release any employee salary information. The company does not release the last four digits of your Social Security number (SSN) to the program administrator. ArcelorMittal only confirms the accuracy of the last four digits of your SSN if you provide that information to the administrator upon registration for online services. Paper forms do not require you to provide the last four digits of your SSN. Organization eligibility What types of organizations are eligible to receive a gift? Nonprofit organizations are recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt and designated a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code or as an instrumentality of a federal, state or local government as provided by Section 170(c)(1) of the Code. Eligible organizations include, but are not limited to: accredited colleges and universities; private and public elementary and secondary schools; civic, arts and culture organizations; health and human service agencies; and environmental organizations. The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program will also match and/or deduct employee contributions to tax-exempt units of police and fire departments. What is a 501(c)(3)? A 501(c)(3) is a section of the Federal Tax Code which establishes the criteria for tax-exempt charitable organizations. A charitable organization must have 501(c)(3) status (be tax-exempt) in order to receive matching funds. If you d like to check to see if an organization is classified as a 501(c)(3), visit www.irs.gov or contact the organization directly. Important note: not all 501(c)(3) organizations qualify for the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program. What types of organizations or gifts are not eligible for ArcelorMittal s Give Boldly The following types of organizations or gifts are not eligible for the ArcelorMittal s Give Boldly program: Gifts made by or through Community Trusts or similar organizations, including Charitable Remainder Trusts, Donor Advised Funds, or Family or Private Foundations Direct gifts not paid in full or below the minimum gift requirement of $50 Gifts of real or personal property Bequests Donations to a political organization Gifts to individuals Gifts supporting trips, tours and associated costs Gifts to a Charitable Gift Fund (see specific question below) Religious organizations and groups which are denominational or sectarian in purpose such as churches, missionary groups, etc. (see specific question below) Organizations that discriminate on such items as race, color, ethnic origin, national origin, creed, religion, political belief, sexual orientation, marital status, age, veteran status, or physical or mental disability or any other status prohibited by law Service clubs and other organizations that channel funds to agencies, including fraternal and social organizations, except United Way Government agencies (except police, fire departments and schools) Organizations whose purpose or methods of operation are deemed to pose a potential conflict of interest for the company Loans or investments Golf tournaments, relays, races, and walk-a-thons or bowl-a-thons Tuition fees, dues or other contributions for athletics, clubs, sororities, fraternities, alumni groups or similar Sporting events and sports clubs Spousal gifts An employee s gift must be a contribution, made in good faith, as his or her own individual contribution. The Give Boldly program does not support a match to any gift by an employee who obtains gifts from multiple individuals through fundraising, i.e., collecting dollars for walk-a-thons, relays, or other activities. ArcelorMittal reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny match requests to any organization if it is determined that the organization is an inappropriate recipient for charitable funds. ArcelorMittal also reserves the right to change, append or terminate the Give Boldly program as conditions may warrant and to make all decisions regarding its interpretation. Give Boldly FAQs Page 2

Can I donate money to organizations located outside the United States? Yes. However, the program will ensure that foreign organizations comply with ArcelorMittal s program guidelines and the USA s 501(c)(3) standard by having the organization complete an equivalency application. This application also takes into account the USA Patriot Act requirement and other compliance requirements. Why aren t my contributions to my church eligible for a match or payroll deduction? ArcelorMittal will not match and/or deduct an employee gift to a church, synagogue, mosque or other house of worship. However, ArcelorMittal may match a gift to a faith-based organization that has a 501(c)(3) status to support programs that: (a) are open to all individuals in the community regardless of race, creed or religious belief; (b) serve a secular purpose, such as a food pantry or homeless shelter; and (c) do not require participants to join in religious worship or doctrine as a condition of receiving the services that the charity offers. Examples of eligible faith-based organizations include Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Lutheran Family Service and Jewish Community Foundations. Why isn t a donation to a Charitable Gift Fund eligible? A Charitable Gift Fund, or donor advised fund, is a charitable giving vehicle administered by a third party and created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an organization, family or individual. The ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program only matches and/or deducts charitable donations made directly from an eligible donor s personal funds directly to an eligible nonprofit organization. A donation to a Charitable Gift Fund is not a donation to an eligible organization because a Charitable Gift Fund is not a 501(c)(3) and supports the individual trust. If I contribute to a specific program or project at a primary/ secondary school or college/university, will the match be made directly to the program or project I supported? The corporate match will be made to the school district, university or college for which the gift was made. The educational institution has the ability to determine, at their own discretion, if the match will go directly to support the program or project or the school as a whole. ArcelorMittal does not have the ability to ensure that those funds go directly to the project or program you requested. How do I determine the tax deductible portion of my donation? A charitable gift for which the donor receives nothing in exchange is 100% tax deductible. The portion of a charitable gift that covers any goods or services received in exchange for a donation is not tax deductible. Examples include: tickets, dinners, promotional items, subscriptions, dues, etc. The nonprofit can tell you what portion of your gift is considered tax deductible if you are in doubt. What types of payment will ArcelorMittal match? The financial transaction is managed directly between you and the nonprofit organization you are supporting. In general, gifts provided directly to a nonprofit organization may be made by cash, check, credit card or by a gift of stock, but you should check with the nonprofit to see what types of donations they accept. ArcelorMittal will also match gifts made through payroll deduction. Process guidelines How do I submit a request for a corporate match? There are three ways to submit a match request. 1. Online form to request match for prior donation or make a direct donation and request match: Click here to register for online services and the ability to submit a request electronically. (Preferred) Give Boldly FAQs Page 3 2. Paper form to request match for prior donation: You can obtain a Give Boldly form from your local human resources department or local union hall, download a form from this site in the Download Forms tab, or call 1.866.295.5455. 3. Payroll deduction: From October 1-31, eligible employees can enroll in payroll deduction in order to provide a gift to an eligible nonprofit and request a match. How do I log in to www.arcelormittalgiveboldly.com for the first time? First-time visitors will be asked to register for full access to the site, providing general contact information including a phone number and email address and using the following username, your last name, and password: Username: Six digit employee payroll ID/clock number plus two digit birth month and two digit birth date** For example, if your employee clock number is 123 and your birth month and date is May 16, you would enter the following: 0001230516 Be sure to add the appropriate number of zeros to the front of your payroll ID/clock number in order to create a six digit number. The same rule applies to a single digit birth month and/or date. ** Please note that AM/NS Calvert employees should add the number 10 to the front of their eight digit clock number and should not utilize their birth month or date in their username. First-time password: Last four digits of your Social Security number This is the default password. The default password needs to be entered again in the confirm password option to prevent typo-related errors. New password: Passwords must be at least eight characters in length with at least one letter and one number. Passwords cannot contain the username. Employees are reminded to use a password they will remember or write it down in a safe and secure location. Once registered, you will be able to view your Give Boldly account immediately and complete a match request. However, for security reasons, any activity on your account will be on hold until your information is verified. Once confirmed, an email will be sent within 3-5 business days from arcelormittal@easymatch.com to the email address you provided in registration. For log-in assistance, please contact us at arcelormittal@easymatch.com or call 1.866.295.5455. How do I log in to www.arcelormittalgiveboldly.com after the first-time log in? For returning visitors, you will need to provide the following username, your last name and password on the log in page: Username: Six digit employee payroll ID/clock number plus two digit birth month and two digit birth date** For example, if your employee clock number is 123 and your birth month and date is May 16, you would enter the following: 0001230516 Be sure to add the appropriate number of zeros to the front of your payroll ID/clock number in order to create a six digit number. The same rule applies to a single digit birth month and/or date. ** Please note that AM/NS Calvert employees should add the number 10 to the front of their eight digit clock number and should not utilize their birth month or date in their username. Password: Passwords must be at least eight characters in length with at least one letter and one number. Passwords cannot contain the username. Please use a password you will remember or write it down in a safe and secure location. For log-in assistance, please contact us at arcelormittal@easymatch. com or call 1.866.295.5455.

Why do you need the last four digits of my Social Security number? The last four digits of your SSN serve as a unique identifier for you and allow the program administrator to ensure a safe and secure transaction via the website. The company does not release the last four digits of your SSN to the program administrator. ArcelorMittal only confirms the accuracy of the last four digits of your SSN, if you choose to provide that information upon registration for online services. If you prefer not to release the last four digits of your SSN, you can still participate in the Give Boldly program but you cannot manage your transactions or giving history online. Where can I find blank forms? We recommend that you submit your requests online as it will give you immediate access to the progress of your match and/or deduction request. Forms may be downloaded from this website in the Download Forms tab, can be requested via phone at 1.866.295.5455 or email at arcelormittal@easymatch.com, or are available at your local human resources departments. Forms will also be available at the local Union Hall. When will the organization receive my money? Give Boldly (payroll and corporate match) disbursements will be made from ArcelorMittal on a quarterly basis to nonprofit organizations, as long as the gift is paid in full (does not apply to payroll deduction see section on payroll deductions). Can I obtain a document for tax purposes at the end of the For direct cash, check, credit card, or stock contributions, you must obtain a receipt directly from the nonprofit as our vendor does not process the gift, only the match. When you enroll in charitable giving through payroll deduction, you have the option to select a donor recognition level. If you select I wish to remain anonymous, then the recipient nonprofits will not be able to send you a receipt. If you do not select an option, then the default action performed by the campaign is to release your name only. If you are registered for the program s online services (www.arcelormittalgiveboldly.com), you can check your history online under My Giving History. Click the Show Detail link next to an individual transaction, and the associated messaging will inform you whether the organization has authorized us to provide you a receipt, which you can print there, or whether you should request that the organization you donate to acknowledge your contribution. Will I be notified when ArcelorMittal matches my gift, or if it is not approved? Yes, employee donors are notified of their matched contributions on a quarterly basis. If you signed up for online services access, you will be able to see your match online. If you elected to only participate through hard copy mail, a letter will be sent to either confirm the match was made or declined. How much time do I have to request a match once I ve made a donation by check, credit card or stock? All match requests for contributions you made directly to a nonprofit must be received before December 31 of the year that the gift was made. The program will restart on January 1 of the following year for gifts made within that calendar year. It is also important to remember that the program is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the matching gift budget is met, the program will close for that year. Therefore, we encourage you to apply for a match as soon as the eligible gift is made. For gifts made by cash, check, credit card or stock: why do I have to submit separate forms for each gift made over a period of time to the same institution? Each gift is a separate transaction. One form per gift helps ensure that every gift donation is matched appropriately. Separate forms also facilitate record keeping and comply with ArcelorMittal s audit requirements. Why is it necessary to provide the exact date of my gift? ArcelorMittal requires the exact date of the gift in order to determine if the gift is eligible to be matched. ArcelorMittal s policy is not to match gifts that are requested after December 31 of the year the gift was made. Can gifts combine to meet the $50 minimum? (If I give $25 to an eligible nonprofit through payroll deduction and another $25 to the same nonprofit as a one-time cash gift, will those gifts combine to meet the $50 minimum requirement for a match?) No. Each transaction is treated separately. For example, if you give a total of $50 to the American Red Cross via payroll deduction and make a direct $25 contribution to the American Red Cross from your checking account, only the $50 made through payroll is eligible for a match. Payroll deduction When will the payroll deduction option be available? You may enroll in payroll deduction from October 1-31 for the next calendar year. What if I am already enrolled in charitable deductions through payroll? If you do not reaffirm or change your pledge by October 31, 2016, your current deduction will continue as is for 2017. This includes any matching gifts to these deductions. You may cancel your deduction at any time. I was enrolled in payroll deduction prior to the launch of the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program. Historically, where did my funds go? The organization designated to receive those funds would have been provided by you at the time of registration. In order to determine what organization(s) has historically been designated, please check the signed copy of your payroll deduction form or contact your local human resources department representative. Can I make changes to my payroll deduction selections after the enrollment period closes? You can withdraw from the program at any time, but you cannot make financial changes to your selections, change selected nonprofit organizations, or enroll in the program until the next year s enrollment period. When will payroll deductions begin? Payroll deductions begin on January 1 and continue through the last pay period of the year. The deductions are spread across the number of pay periods in your payroll system. Once the minimum gift requirement of $50 is met, the match to your designated nonprofit(s) will be made on a quarterly basis. How does the program cap impact payroll deductions? You are encouraged to enroll early as the program is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once enrolled, financial commitments made through payroll deduction will be noted in the annual budget to ensure that funds are available before the program comes to a close. The corporate matches for payroll deduction will be issued quarterly once the $50 minimum requirement is met. Give Boldly FAQs Page 4

Is giving as a percent of my salary available? Giving as a percent of salary is only available to employees who have historically elected this option. If you are a new employee or new to charitable giving through payroll deduction, you must select a flat annual amount to be deducted from your paycheck. Regarding percent of salary: Is this amount based on pre-tax or post-tax earnings? Percentage deductions are based on pre-tax earnings. Can I obtain a document for tax purposes at the end of the When you enroll in charitable giving through payroll deduction, you have the option to select a donor recognition level. For cash, check, credit card, or stock contributions, you must obtain a receipt directly from the nonprofit as our vendor does not process the gift, only the match. Will my check stub reflect all charitable giving to date? The amount noted on your paycheck will only reflect the amount given through payroll deduction to date for that program year. Due to the various methods of contribution, the amount noted on your paycheck may or may not reflect the total charitable amount given to date. Are new hires eligible to participate in payroll deduction? New hires are eligible to participate in Give Boldly through direct contributions to the nonprofit of their choice. As a new hire, you will have the ability to sign up for charitable giving through payroll deduction within 30 days of hire by using the New Hire form available at www.arcelormittalgiveboldly.com in the Download Forms tab. Your deductions will begin 90 days after your start date. Can I enroll in payroll deduction through the ArcelorMittal Give Boldly program website? You will have the ability to enroll in payroll deductions through the website from October 1-31. What happens if an employee that is enrolled in payroll deduction is laid off, retires, quits or dies before the end of the quarter but the minimum is met - will the match be made? Regardless of the situation, ArcelorMittal will make the match for that quarter only if the minimum gift of $50 per organization is met. If the employee dies, retires or leaves the company, their enrollment will be terminated immediately. If the employee is laid off, their participation may be on hold until their eligibility status is changed by their human resources department. Please check with your local human resources department for questions on status. How do I cancel enrollment in the payroll deduction If you are enrolled in online services, please contact the program administration office via email at arcelormittal@easymatch.com, call 1.866.295.5455 or complete the Payroll Deduction Cancellation form in the Download Forms tab on the website. Please note: once you cancel your payroll deduction, you cannot re-enroll in the program until the fall enrollment period. If I cancel my enrollment in payroll deduction, when will this take effect? Please allow one to two pay cycles for the cancellation to take effect. Also, please note that if you are short of achieving the $50 minimum required for a match, your donation will accrue until that limit is met before it is sent, with the match to the designated nonprofit. Can I request a refund for payroll deductions? Money that is deducted through payroll is not refundable. The payroll deduction code on my check stub has changed. Is my organization still receiving my contribution? Yes. The new payroll code for any charitable deduction will now be reflected as CHRTY regardless of the organization. Contact information I have updates to my personal contact information that may impact program communications, who should I notify? For changes to personal contact information (i.e. home address, phone number, etc.), please notify your local human resources department. Please do not provide personal information updates directly to the Give Boldly program administrator. If I have a question about my donation or the program, whom should I contact? Please contact the program administration office via email at arcelormittal@easymatch.com or call 1.866.295.5455 Below is the post office box where you can mail program related materials: ArcelorMittal Give Boldly Program P.O.
