MEA College Tour Boot Camp Wednesday, October 14 - Friday, October 16, 2015 Information Page and Applications Open to all Edison, NAAC, Patrick Henry, Roosevelt, South, Southwest and Washburn students Project SUCCESS is thrilled to announce our fourth annual three-day college tour boot camp offered to high school students, packed with admission information, campus tours, workshops, food and fun and all at no cost to students! This is an immersive, exciting experience aimed at helping young people develop the skills and insight required to choose the best college for their individual needs. Attend one, two or all three days of this college tour experience! How do I sign up for the tours? Detach and fill out applications on the following pages for each of the days you wish to attend. GETTING TO THE PROJECT SUCCESS OFFICE All students should meet the bus at the Project SUCCESS office and arrange transportation home from the Project SUCCESS office at the end of each day. We are located at One Groveland Terrace, Minneapolis, MN 55403. It is a two story tan brick building directly behind the Walker Art Center at the corner of Hennepin Avenue and Groveland Terrace. The bus will leave promptly at the time listed for each tour and cannot wait for latecomers. Please leave yourself plenty of time to get to our office and call in advance with any questions or concerns. Project SUCCESS is dedicated to making these tours accessible to all of our high school students. Bus passes are available to get to and from our office. You can find bus route Information at www.metrotransit.org or by calling 612-373-3333. Bus passes can be found in the office where you picked up the application at your school. Please indicate on the application if you will need a bus pass. If getting to our office is a concern, please call us at 612-876-3926 and we can help set up transportation.

MEA College Tour Boot Camp: Schedule DAY 1 - Wednesday, October 14, 2015 You may choose ONE of the following three tours Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges Macalester College and Hamline University 9:15am 9:00am 1:30pm 4:30pm 6:30pm Carleton: workshop, tour, admissions presentation and lunch (provided by Carleton) St. Olaf: workshop, tour, admissions Explore Northfield, MN 10:00am 2:15pm 5:00pm 6:30pm Macalester: Workshop, tour, admissions presentation and lunch Hamline: workshop, tour, admissions Explore a neighborhood in St. Paul Augsburg College - Introduction to the college experience! 8:30am 9:00am 3:00pm Although anyone may attend this trip, this tour is geared towards the student who is just starting their college search. Attend a workshop on how to think critically about your college choices, tour the Augsburg campus, have lunch on campus and hear from students and faculty about different aspects of the college experience including academics, sports, clubs, housing, leadership and social experiences. DAY 2 - Thursday, October 15, 2015 You may choose ONE of the following four tours Dunwoody College of Technology St. Cloud State University 7:30am Meet at Project SUCCESS office at Admissions presentation & specialty sessions Dunwoody 9:30am Tour, workshop, student panel, admissions presentation and programming at SCSU 11:30am Return to Project SUCCESS office *SPACE IS VERY LIMITED. If choosing Dunwoody, please select programs on back of Day 2 application page. 3:30pm Bus drops off at the Project SUCCESS of office Lunch is provided free of charge 10:00am 4:00pm University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire Tour, admissions presentation, workshop, student panel and lunch in Eau Claire Lunch is provided free of charge St Catherine University (four year women s college) 7:30am 3:30pm Admissions presentation, student panel, activities fair, classroom observations workshop, tour and lunch Lunch is provided free of charge *SPACE IS VERY LIMITED. College Tour Application MEA College Tour Boot Camp Dunwoody College of Technology - Sign Up ***If you choose to sign up for the Dunwoody tour, you must also sign up for additional programs you are interested in seeing. Please read below for more information on the Discovering Dunwoody event we will be a part of, and select which programs you are interested in. REMEMBER: Space is very limited for this trip.
