Many regions are members of different interregional associations, whose tasks are creation of interregional networks, representation of the interest of the regions involved in front of higher instance institutions, implementation of the projects of common interest which can influence development of the regions, creation of regional policies, etc. In order to show eamples of interregional cooperation within interregional organisations and especially to see how they can jointly use EU funds, Varaždin County intends to organise a seminar on the topic Interregional organisations and the use of EU funds. The seminar will concentrate on the eperience of organisations in the creation and implementation of joint EU projects, which can only bring added value to the functioning of the organisation.the event will also be an opportunity to present the concrete work and results of some of the associations in the very center of the creation of regional policy. Welcomed are all kinds of interregional organisations, both from the EU and non-eu members. The aim is to showcase several eamples and discuss their eperience.
