GBC Veteran Services Great Basin College serves Student Veterans throughout 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada s largest counties: GBC FALL 2015 72 VA Students GBC SPRING 2016 71 VA Students Great Basin College Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is our rural communities one stop shop for all Veteran s benefit information. We offer on site/iav sessions for career, financial aid, academic advising, and tutoring for our Vets. We also offer Vet Center Group Counseling twice a month. Community Partnerships: The GBC VRC has also partnered with many community resources to form the Northeastern NV Veterans Resource Group (NNVRG), which collaborates the efforts of many to better help our Veterans and their families. GBC and NDVS teamed up to offer more services to our Student Veterans. Our Elko VRC now houses our local VSO and VISTA. GBC, GOED, and Barrick Gold have also partnered to create a new program that offers Student Veteran Internships throughout our communities.
