On Sunday, May 17, Dr. Robert Miller will be joining us in the pulpit and in the New Beginnings Sunday school class. Dr. Miller has been a professor of religion at Juniata College since 2003. He is the Rosenberger Chair of Christian and Religious Studies. Before that, he was professor of religion and philosophy at Midway College in Midway, Kentucky. Attention Graduates: The graduating class of 2015 will be honored in a special worship service on Sunday, June 7. Kate Eisenbise, Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Manchester University, will be our guest speaker this year. Those graduating from high school, college, trade, or graduate school are asked to email their name, date of graduation, school, and future plans to the church office at gwagner@palmyracob.org, by Sunday, May 31. High school graduates and their parents are also invited to celebrate with a banquet on May 27. Invitations will be sent soon! Caring Cupboard needs this week: chicken noodle & beef vegetable soup, cream of chicken/mushroom/celery soup, canned fruit, canned red beets, canned mixed vegetables, kidney beans, great northern beans, bath tissue, pasta sauce, ramen noodles, fresh potatoes. Drop off hours: Mon.: 3-6, Wed.: 10-12 & 5:30-7, Fri.: 12-2. Staffing Update: Our 2015 budget provides funds for a Music Director, who will coordinate all facets of our music program here at PCoB. The Worship Team is making final adjustments to the position description and will soon be seeking applications from interested candidates. As of May 1st, Sue Boyer has been hired to assume this position on an interim basis. This position includes directing the Chancel and Canticle Choirs, plus working with our Praise Team and coordinating special music ensembles.

Our new online giving program offers convenience for you and donation consistency for our congregation. You will no longer need to write out checks or prepare envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
