The Association is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes and supports an all-hazards approach to Emergency Management in the State of Maryland. Current membership includes persons from local & State Emergency Management Agencies, professional and technical backgrounds, corporations and local businesses. All proceeds from the Silent Auction support the association scholarship fund. Five awards are made annually to Maryland High School Seniors. The five scholarships awarded each year help to pay tuition, books, and other miscellaneous expenses of the scholarship recipients, while promoting the future of Emergency Management in the State of Maryland.
