Center for Human Rights and Democracy Mission: Promote, through International programs and partnerships, the education and training of human rights, rule of law, due process, democratic principles, international humanitarian law, and ethics, to military, law enforcement, and government civilians, that will enhance their professional competencies and strengthen a culture of mutual respect and cooperation. CHRD offers: Legal Aspects of Security Force Operations Course Human Rights, Democracy and Ethics classes to all students and faculty at WHINSEC Human Rights and Democracy electives to the Command & General Staff Officer Course The TRADOC Field Studies Program Consultancy services to partner nations and to other U.S. organizations Research that contributes to the body of knowledge in human rights.
