GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: a) All the Principals are instructed to submit the duly filled in application along with the internal assessment and eligible examiner list to the Chairman, Board of Examination for DGNM, Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 on or before 22 nd December 2017 without fail. b) Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without any intimation. 2. EXAMINATION FEE a) Examination fee at Rs.100/- for each paper should be paid separately for Theory & Practical. b) The Examination fee should be sent as Demand Draft in favour of The Chairman, Board of Examination for DGNM, Chennai. Payable at Chennai. 3. HALL TICKETS a) The Principals are requested to download the examination application form and the blank Hall Tickets from the website www.tnhealth.org. b) Authorized hall tickets will be sent to the respective Examination Centre and the Principals of Private School of Nursing can collect from the respective Examination centre. c) Only recent colour passport size photo having name of the candidate in the photo to be affixed and it should be attested by the Student. 4. ELIGIBLE CRITERIA FOR EXAMINER ARE AS FOLLOWS. a) Examiners must have minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. b) Examiners should have minimum of one year teaching experience in the present working institution. c) The Faculty who are involved for DGNM programme alone will be considered. d) The Faculty involved in the collegiate programme will not be considered for any of the DGNM programme concerned.
NOTE: 1. 75% of attendance is required for a student to appear for the Board Examination. 2. The number of attempts in examinations has been waived off. But the candidates must clear all the previous examinations before appearing final year examinations ie. the candidate must clear all the I / II year examinations before appearing III year examination. If any deviation in this regard, the concerned Principal of the School of Nursing is held responsible for any course of action. 3. If III rd year student fails in one subject he / she may be allowed to continue the internship. 4. If a candidate fails in III rd year in two or more subjects, they will not be allowed for internship until they clear all the subjects. 5. The Hall Ticket will be issued only after receiving the Internal Assessment. 6. No institution shall submit student average internal marks more than 75% i.e., if 40 students are admitted in a course then the average score of all the (total) 40 students shall not exceed 75%. 7. The Student should pass in the internal assessment in each subject and practical(s). 8. Student who appears for any supplementary examination, internal assessment for those Subject (s) / Practical (s) is to be sent to the Board. 9. If students fails in either theory or practical he/she has to re-appear for both the papers (Theory and Practical) for those who are admitted in the DGNM course from the year 2015-2016. 10. If a II nd year students failed in either Theory (Medical Surgical Nursing-I/ Medical Surgical Nursing-II) or Practical (Medical Surgical Nursing), He/ She has to re-appear for both the Papers and Practical for those who are admitted in the DGNM Course in the year 2015-2016.
