This year, conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 25 th and Thursday, October 26th. School will dismiss at noon on both days, and lunch will not be served. Bus transportation will be provided, and Extended Care will be open for registered students from noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 27 th is also a half day as our students prepare for Halloween with parties at 10:30 in the classrooms. The portal through Option C will open on Tuesday, October 10 th, and you can schedule a time that is convenient to your family. Please note the Option C portal will close on Thursday, October 17 th. Communication and collaboration between teacher and parent is essential to the success of our children, and therefore, it is important that you schedule a conference time of your choice. Once again, parents will schedule their own conferences by logging on to Option C. Registration and scheduling will be done via Option C. Please see the attached Parent Guide for instructions. Conferences will be on a first come, first serve basis. You must log in to Option C before beginning this process. Kindergarten 4 th Grade, Conferences are mandated for all students. 5 th 8 th Grades, Conferences are at the request of parents and/or teachers. Conferences will be held from 12:30 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. in 15-minute intervals. The window for registration is October 10 th through October 17 th. Please document the date(s) and time(s) of your conference(s). Your promptness is crucial to maintaining the 15 minutes allocated for each conference and considers the time allotted for other parents. If a longer time is needed, please contact the teacher to schedule a conference at a different time. Lehigh Valley Health Network 20 th Annual Community Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Campaign Flu Shots and Community Food Drive Every flu season for the past 19 years, we ve distributed free flu vaccines to the community. The program grows each year. The first year we distributed 100 vaccines, now we administer about 11,000 vaccines a year. During this year s two-day community drive-through clinic, free flu vaccinations will be administered to adults and children 6 months and older. High-dose vaccine available for 65 and older. Optional donations of nonperishable and nonexpired food items will be accepted.
