A Parent s Night Out for families who have children with special needs: Pause for parents, Play for kids Butler County Family & Children First Council is partnering with several community partners to give you a free parent s night out. Let us care for your child while you get a break! Your child will be paired with a buddy whose main goal will be to spend quality time having fun and caring for them. We will have snacks, do craft projects, play games and more. Pre-register to hold your spot now! Every buddy will go through a nationally recognized, foundational training to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide the best care possible for your child. For more info about the training the buddies will receive you can visit www.restprogram.org. If needed, additional disability specific training may be provided, as well as individualized training at the parent s direction to meet the unique needs of each child.
