CONTEXT WORLD FOOTBALL SUMMIT WFS is the international reference event on the football industry held in Madrid, with the objective of generating business opportunities and discussing the sector's key issues. Its second event was held in Madrid on 16 and 17 October 2017, and attended by 2,000 people, nearly 30% of whom were foreign. More information at www.worldfootballsummit. com The event comes to under the name of WFS Industry with the aim of creating, from its own local prism, a networking platform that promotes the business related to the football industry, and quality content with relevant topics and international speakers. 2

CONTEXT ECONOMY AND EMPLOYMENT Football represents a global industry that provides business opportunities in a wide variety of products and services. The European football market expects revenue during this season of nearly 30,000 million euros, at a growth rate of 7% annually, thanks to a large extent to football's high penetration in the audiovisual business. With about 10,000 million euros, football in Spain represents 1% of GDP. In terms of employment, the activity of football generates more than 140,000 jobs, 66,000 directly, 60,000 indirectly and more than 17,000 induced. And in indirect terms, the contribution of professional football to the Spanish GDP exceeded 3.2 million in 2016, and the sectors that benefited the most were the activities relation to culture, recreational and sports, telecommunications, construction/real estate and bars/ restaurants... 3

CONTEXT FOOTBALL INDUSTRY IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY, BIZKAIA AND BILBAO The Basque Country is a very dynamic territory in many industrial sectors and services, and is at the forefront of the most innovative regions in Europe. The world of football has been in this land for over a centenary, it has 4 clubs in the first division, a very large youth team football structure, and in some of its clubs their own differentiated working philosophy. The football industry is now a sector with great potential for success if synergies are explored with other icons of the city and territory. 4

WHO'S COMING TO WFS BILBAO INDUSTRY? T his is a "Business to Business"(B2B) event to connect with the people to contact in this industry, whether companies directly related to the football, all kinds of entrepreneurs or entities that have interest in the football industry. A ll the actors in the value chain that are involved in the football industry, such as the clubs, companies and institutions. W hat sectors? Technology, representations, training, finance, legal, insurance, logistics, media, merchandising, sponsorship, equipment, sports facilities, tour operators, among others. 5

OBJECTIVES Provide a space where companies from the football industry can connect and work, bringing together relevant personalities, companies, clubs, ideas that generate knowhow, and business opportunities, growth and development. To assist in the professionalization of local clubs. Helping local Start-Ups, entrepreneurs and companies to develop business in the football industry. Generate economic impact in the territory through the development of competitiveness, the generation of employment and the empowerment of the sports industry in the Basque Country as well as having a positive impact on the tourism industry. 6
