Dear Colleagues, The Department of Human Resources, with support from university funding, provides the attached advertising contracts to assist hiring officials in reaching diverse and highly qualified candidates. These advertising sources are focused on reaching a broad population and using economies of scale to reduce overall advertising costs; however, the hiring official is still encouraged to place additional advertising focused on the intended niche audience. In addition to print or web advertising, many people are successfully using listservs, professional organizations, and other related networks. College and/or departmental social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook are also good sources to promote the job vacancy. Graystone Advertising Agency, the university s advertising vendor, is able to assist with all advertising and media needs and can recommend a variety of advertising sources.
