What Else is Happening! Continued from page 1 SUMMER CAMP. Registration is now open for our new summer camp here at Sacred Heart through KidCam Camps! You may register online by clicking here. Our weekly school liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 7, 8 a.m. Mass leaders are students in 3B (Fisher). Altar servers will be James McKay, Carter Schmitt, and Leslie Stevens. MEN S CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT. Things are gearing up on the pro golf circuit, as evidenced by the return of the annual Men s Club Golf Tournament! Stations of the Cross will be each Friday during Lent at 2 p.m. in the church. Students in third through eighth grade attend weekly. All parents are invited to attend. HOLY THURSDAY PROCESSION. We re less than a month away from our beautiful Holy Thursday service, which concludes with a beautiful procession through the church led by the children of Sacred Heart Church and School. ParentingU, a new iniative by Our Lady of the Lake Children s Health, presents a seminar on Anxiety in Children and Teens on Thursday, March 8, 6 p.m. The event will be held at the LSU Health Medical Education and Innovation Center, 5246 Brittany Drive, Baton Rouge. CrossFit Kingfish Downtown plans on bringing an enjoyable experience to the students of Sacred Heart with some challenging fitness stations! Stations will include obstacle courses, gymnastics movements, teamwork drills, and will be tons of fun! With volunteers helping at each of the 4-5 stations, they will have a short window of time to teach the kids the requirements of each, followed by a short window in which the children will be able to test their abilities! Be on the lookout for forms to come home this week!!! You are invited Our next Parent Social will be tonight, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall The theme is Vision for the Future. This is an Adults only social. This is a great opportunity to enjoy some social time together and discuss the bright future of our school! Childcare will not be provided for this evening. Students, however, will not have any homework assigned tonight in order to minimize the burden on families. Wine and refreshments will be served. Our 2018 Tiger Gala was a huge success!! GOLF The 2018 Sacred Heart Men s Club Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, March 12 at Webb Memorial Golf Course in Baton Rouge.
