Adrian is 3-for-11 (27.3 percent) on the power play and is 6-for-6 (100.0 percent) on the penalty kill this season. Coghlin Count: St. Norbert head coach Tim Coghlin owns a record of 531-137- 52 in his 25th season. Coghlin is in 21st place all-time in wins for NCAA men s ice hockey coaches in all divisions. Coghlin is three wins ahead of current Mercyhurst coach Rick Gotkin, who currently has a record of 528-390-86. Retired Minnesota State-Mankato coach Don Brose is 20th all-time with a career record of 536-335-79 from 1970-2000. Retired Army coach Jack Riley and retired Bowdoin coach Terry Meagher are tied for 18th all-time with 542 wins apiece. Coghlin earned his 500 career wins in just 680 games. That mark is the third-fastest to 500 wins in NCAA hockey history. Only UMass-Dartmouth s John Rolli (658 games) and Bemidji State s Bob Peters (677 games) have reached 500 games more quickly. According to research by the St. Norbert sports information office, no other NCAA hockey coaches have ever reached 500 wins in less than 700 games. Home Sweet Cornerstone: St. Norbert is 231-30-12 all-time at the Cornerstone Community Center, which includes a 9-4-1 mark there its first season in the building in 2000-01. St. Norbert is 211-22-9 in its last 242 games at the Cornerstone Community Center. The Green Knights had a 25-game home winning streak - the secondlongest in NCAA Division III history - snapped with a 2-2 tie to Gustavus Adolphus on Nov. 4, 2011. St. Norbert also owns the NCAA Division III record with a 36-game home winning streak set Oct. 25, 2002 to Oct. 29, 2004. In the last 16-plus seasons, the Green Knights are a sparkling 222-25-11 at the Cornerstone, with three losses and one tie coming to national champion UW-Superior during the 2001-02 season. Under Tim Coghlin, St. Norbert is 310-52-18 at home, which includes games at Brown County Arena, Resch Center and De Pere Ice Arena. Only two visiting teams have won at least two games at the Cornerstone Community Center in the same season. Superior won three times in 2001-02 and UW-Eau Claire won twice in 2012-13. Both of those teams went on to win the NCAA Division III national championship. Poll Position: St. Norbert has been ranked in the USCHO.com Division III Poll for 287 consecutive polls. The Green Knights have been ranked in 325 of 331 polls conducted since its inception at the start of the 1998-99 season - the most of any school in Division III. During the 287-week stretch of being ranked, St. Norbert has been No. 1 for 88 weeks - surpassing Norwich s 85 for most all-time. St. Norbert was rated No. 1 in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2014 final polls. The Green Knights are 116-23-8 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Poll. St. Norbert is 130-52-18 against teams ranked in the USCHO.com Poll under Tim Coghlin. The Green Knights are 4-5 all-time against the No. 1-ranked team and are 7-7-1 alltime when playing the No. 2- ranked team.
