Section I Scholarships Part A One application for two scholarships. This will be listed in Naviance as: Town of Hanover Scholarships. The two scholarships available in Part A are: Ahearn Scholarship Fund, Mary A. and William T. and/or Hammond Scholarship Fund, Dr. Charles
SECTION 1: Part B Complete ONE application for 28 Scholarships This will be listed in Naviance as: Hanover Permanent Scholarship Fund, Inc (common application) The following scholarships will use the Hanover Permanent Scholarship Fund Application Amaral, Edward M. Check off the scholarships you are applying for in the column next to the name of the scholarship
Section II: Individual Applications Required A full list of individual scholarships including their description and eligibility requirements is located in the scholarship booklet on www.hanoverschools.org click high school and then guidance Separate applications are required for most scholarships in this section. These applications can be found in Naviance. Read guidelines and criteria carefully. Students should mail the scholarship application directly to the scholarship committee.
Where Do I Get the Scholarship Applications? Applications for Section 1 and Section 2 are available on Naviance Log on to http://connection.naviance.com/hanoverhs Click the Colleges Tab Scroll down and click on Scholarship List Click on the scholarship you are eligible for Download and print the application MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATIONS BY THE DUE DATE LISTED
Click on the scholarship you would like to apply for.
Click download to get a copy of the application. Once the file opens, click print!
How Do I Request a Transcript for Local and National Scholarships? Log on to your Naviance account at http://connection.naviance.com/hanoverhs Click the Colleges tab Click Transcripts located under Resources Click Request transcripts for scholarships or athletics Enter in the name and address of the scholarship as it is listed in the application. If you are applying to the Section 1 Part A (Ahearn and/or Hammond Scholarships), request your transcript to go to the Town of Hanover as that is how it is listed on the application. If you are requesting a transcript for scholarships Section 1 Part B, request your transcript to go to the Hanover Permanent Scholarship Fund, as listed on the application. If you are requesting a transcript for Section 2 scholarships, you will need to request a transcript for each individual scholarship.

Click on REQUEST TRANSCRIPTS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS OR ATHLETICS
Enter in the scholarship information here and click Request Transcript
HOW TO APPLY The specific materials needed for each scholarship will be detailed in the application. IN GENERAL, you should be prepared to submit: ~At least TWO letters of recommendations from teachers (you can use the same letters from college applications) ~A Transcript (deadline for request transcripts is April 3, 2017) ~ Essay ~ Resume
Section III There are no applications for section III as all students are considered Please complete the survey sent to your email to provide the committee details on specifics and eligibility.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES Check the individual scholarship deadlines. Most scholarship applications need to be postmarked and sent to the scholarship committees by April 7, 2017 The guidance office must receive ALL transcript request NO LATER THAN April 3, 2017
